I do things differently. Instead of reading theories about leftism, I surround myself by those who I feel are the most coherent, human, optimist and more grounded into our reality, here, Leftists, communists, sometimes anarchist, artist and scientists.
Only when I'm ready to read and learn about a concept I start reading and seeking knowledge about it. The road to real leftism is slow, at least for me.
PErhaps, but Marx doesn't live in our timeline right now. And right now, communism and socialism are two very different things. You can't always use old windows to look at the present reality. You need to adapt the instrument of mesure.
Communism combining with the state is more of a Marxist Leninist thing. Unless you think that is the true form of communism a commune can pretty much be communist

unless you’re a ML, or a democratic socialist. At the barebones communism and socialism are pretty much the same thing. With the exception of maybe the whole “no state” thing from Marx
btw I don’t use those interchangeably, this just all theory talk
You really don't understand how regulating AI is one of the most important challenges of our time. No one is saying we should stop AI, but you just want to let it take over and let companies automate most of their labor, which is beyond cringe and out of touch.
I find it disgusting you would insinuate such. You know not my life, nor my circumstances. I offered you the chance at dialogue in a real call so you might see that I am not some kind of bigot. I did know what trans was. I still do. But it's through an intimate EXPERIENCE of being trans that I know something you don't -- and likely never will.
There is an entire community of people like me in the UK. Research me. Research US. Detransitioners are fucking real. I no longer identify as female, but I did for 8 whole years.

For the record it was a process of years of deprogramming. Of deep psychological change. If you ever want to -listen- like you claim you do, you'll know where to find me.

You mean people with dissociative identity disorder ? For example a person who can suddenly develop a personnality where they are a dog or a fictionnal character ? Those people are legitimate. As long as they don't hurt anyone, noone should hurt them.
No. Sometime things are simple. The reason why there is two sides in politic is very simple. There are values in conflict and those value are usually formed together. Meaning that you will most likely tend to believe in capitalism and invidualism if you are an hard core believer of free will.
But there is something you also must understand (and that I didn't right here) The blue side is basing its ideology into fantasy while the red side is basing its reasonning in reality.
That's why most scientist tend to be either centrist or leftists.
the fact that you say I, the person with a more solid worldview than some guy who flips political identity’s like pancakes at a dinner is on shaky ground is hilarious
Political identity is a form of social identity marking membership of certain groups that share a common struggle for a certain form of power. This can include identification with a political party, but also positions on specific political issues, nationalism, inter-ethnic relations or more abstract ideological themes.
