I think the native Americans should have their own state.

And so should black people.
What's your deal with everyone getting their own state?
This isn't necessarily going to solve problems such as discrimination, wealth inequality, prejudice etc

And what do you mean by ''THE native Americans''?
There are idk how many different tribes in the USA alone, with very different cultures, some having been enemies for centuries.

How do you think they should form a single state? And where? There are many native territories scattered across the country.
Do you expect most natives to give up on their territories and move to an all-native super state?

Fun fact: had the colonisation of north America stayed in the English crown's hands there might be at least one native country in north America today, namely the Iroquois confederation. Look it up if you want.

I'm interested, what belief has the Messiah coming from Jerusalem ?
Lmao every religion can postulate whatever they want. There's no way to prove or disprove any of it.
The point is that people's religious feelings are not dependent on factual clarification and research.

Simply telling people 'your Messiah is not real' won't help anybody. The fact is that many believers of different walks of life have an attachment to this city.
That's why I say everyone should have equal access.

But people gotta stop fighting and hating each other fr.
Wars destroy everything, they end lives, lay ruin to sacred buildings and destroy bonds build abler centuries.

War never brings anything good

I know all of that, but I was asking which religion has the messiah coming from the city. Its a religious question rather than a political one.

Some Jewish Sects I believe,
The Messiah will come from Jerusalem and establish the Jews supremacy over the world aka the Kingdom of Heaven.

Emet Ve-Emunah, the Conservative movement's statement of principles, states the following:

Since no one can say for certain what will happen "in the days to come" each of us is free to fashion personal speculative visions ... Though some of us accept these speculations as literally true, many of us understand them as elaborate metaphors ... For the world community we dream of an age when warfare will be abolished, when justice and compassion will be the axioms of interpersonal and international relationships and when, in Isaiah's words (11:9) "...the land shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea." For our people, we dream of the ingathering of all Jews to Zion where we can again be masters of our destiny and express our distinctive genius in every area of our national life.... We affirm Isaiah's prophecy (2:3) that "...Torah shall come forth from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. ... We do not know when the Messiah will come, nor whether he will be a charismatic human figure or is a symbol of the redemption of humankind from the evils of the world. Through the doctrine of a messianic figure, Judaism teaches us that every individual human being must live as if he or she, individually, has the responsibility to bring about the messianic age. Beyond that, we echo the words of Maimonides based on the prophet Habakkuk (2:3) that though he may tarry, yet do we wait for him each day

Some Christians believe if all the Jews is in Jerusalem, Jesus will show up.
This explains the Anti-Semitic yet Pro Zionist positions for some of them

It's an interesting prophecy regardless.

All strands agree though we're in the end times and Jerusalem will be something significant

Interesting, I have heard Jewish thought on the messiah and it varies. Some of them believe every age has a possible messiah, but whether that person will become messiah is up to them. There are other beliefs like this one as well.

As for evangelicals in America, yes they are very zionist. But like you said, they only hope it will bring the rapture quicker. Basically hastening the end of the world by manifesting what they see as the "end signs".

Climate change. The whole middle east is gonna be uninhabitable by 2050.
And the Pacific islands will be completely gone

And the Amazon may turn into a savanna

And no more glaciers, no more snow, no more marine ice shields.

In a hundred years the rich will populate Antarctica. And destroy it too.

Congratulations, humankind.
You played yourselves by destroying your own habitat. :finally:

Yes, the Middle East is vulnerable to climate change. No, it won't be uninhabitable. Certain regions may become so, but the region is big (over 7 million km^2). And most countries in the region live in specific cities rather than being spread out. The regions that may become uninhabitable are most likely to be regions that are not very attractive to make into a city nowadays.

The challenges for climate change are hard to tackle, best thing we can do is cover the desert with solar panels and let it run. In our house we recently got solar power, dropped our electric bill to 10% of what we used to pay.
