That's all fine but we currently don't have tech capable of terraforming , like we are miles from it, and even if we get it at some point the expense of terraforming mars and then making it habitable would probably take ages.

Personally we should focus on habitable planets first and make bases. As for the journey, well first generation won't make it, maybe even 2nd, 3rd might
