Yes, the Middle East is vulnerable to climate change. No, it won't be uninhabitable. Certain regions may become so, but the region is big (over 7 million km^2). And most countries in the region live in specific cities rather than being spread out. The regions that may become uninhabitable are most likely to be regions that are not very attractive to make into a city nowadays.

The challenges for climate change are hard to tackle, best thing we can do is cover the desert with solar panels and let it run. In our house we recently got solar power, dropped our electric bill to 10% of what we used to pay.
There are some studies that claim we might face a refugee crisis of half a billion people leaving the middle east.

There aren't half a billion people in the middle east, even when you count Turkey. Current population would be around 480 million. The study you read might have mentioned North Africa within this population. Even then that whole gorup doesn't go over 700 million.

I doubt 80% of the population would become climate refugees.

Its more likely the numbers were blown out of proportion to get attention to the vulnerability of the region to climate change.

They might be accounting for North Africa too.

Think I might have been wrong about Zionism. Was doing some reading on it from a Palestinian perspective. I don’t think I know enough to form an opinion, but I’ll get back to y’all on this.

I know I’m not Jewish, but I’d like to be and I associate with a lot of Jews. Especially, I go to this synagogue which is quite blatantly pro-Israel.

Im sure part of my Zionism comes from my desire to fit in with those people. American education also is also very biased towards Zionism. But I’d also like to be correct, so I figured I might go do some reading.

Some Jewish Sects I believe,
The Messiah will come from Jerusalem and establish the Jews supremacy over the world aka the Kingdom of Heaven.

Emet Ve-Emunah, the Conservative movement's statement of principles, states the following:

Since no one can say for certain what will happen "in the days to come" each of us is free to fashion personal speculative visions ... Though some of us accept these speculations as literally true, many of us understand them as elaborate metaphors ... For the world community we dream of an age when warfare will be abolished, when justice and compassion will be the axioms of interpersonal and international relationships and when, in Isaiah's words (11:9) "...the land shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea." For our people, we dream of the ingathering of all Jews to Zion where we can again be masters of our destiny and express our distinctive genius in every area of our national life.... We affirm Isaiah's prophecy (2:3) that "...Torah shall come forth from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. ... We do not know when the Messiah will come, nor whether he will be a charismatic human figure or is a symbol of the redemption of humankind from the evils of the world. Through the doctrine of a messianic figure, Judaism teaches us that every individual human being must live as if he or she, individually, has the responsibility to bring about the messianic age. Beyond that, we echo the words of Maimonides based on the prophet Habakkuk (2:3) that though he may tarry, yet do we wait for him each day

Some Christians believe if all the Jews is in Jerusalem, Jesus will show up.
This explains the Anti-Semitic yet Pro Zionist positions for some of them

It's an interesting prophecy regardless.

All strands agree though we're in the end times and Jerusalem will be something significant
interesting post.

The Arabs never wanted compromise. They wanted to have all of the land to themselves even though Israel had a rightful claim.

They could have just accepted the partition, but they wanted a war and they lost. Boo hoo.
Why would they cede it ?
Jews didn't have a state there for 2 milenias, what claim do they have?
By that logic Christian crusaders have bigger claim than jews because their nation existed after jewish one.
It is for a reason why modern world today doesn't do borders based on historical claims.

You know what would be more fair? If part of germany was given

Honestly, I think I need to read a bit more on the issue.

I’ll get back to y’all on this

The rich will not be able to escape to Mars. Like all colonization efforts, the first settlers must be those who are willing to work hard to survive(a qualification that is notably lacking among the 1%)

And by the time its ready for the billionaires, the people of Earth will have already either saved themselves or destroyed themselves
