They pushed unhealthy dietary recommendations on us from the USDA, which the scientific community supported. It wasn't because it was healthier, but because it helped the food producers. It's the original food pyramid I mentioned in the other post. I just don't want to get into it because I don't believe I can accurately communicate it properly. It is much more than that, many countries don't even allow the stuff they fill our food with.

Hmm, this sounds strange. Scientist being at fault here seems fishy. I'll try to do some researches about it.

This shouldn't be an excuse to generalize to the entire scientific research field tho. Again, trusting science is always better than trusting a random guy on internet.
