Children aren't fit to make such decision their brain is still developing
Indeed. That's why you must wait that they grow up and they fully understand their identity to make a decision about their OWN identity.

So, why are parents doing the choice for them then ?

Because society push them to. This is what we call heteronormativity. It pushes people to conform to gender sterotypes and pushes parent to assign gender on children WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING their gender identity.

A third gender is therefore needed.

- It will allow every parent to let their children free of gender pressure
- It will allow children to move toward one gender when they grow up if their feel the need to
- It will protect intersex people from butchers and irresponsible parents
- It will allow trans people to be protected until they decide to transition
- It will create more acceptation toward other gender
- It will reduce the impact of gender sterotypes thus reducing gender inequalities

There is absolutely no negative point to the creation of a third gender. This is what we must do globally.

They absolutely shouldn't, they should make that decision if they want at legal age, otherwise that opens whole can of worms in the form marriage being legally under the age of 18.

There's no gender pressure that's just some stupid shit people with no problems invented.

As grown up do whatever you want.

they should make that decision if they want at legal age
It's too late by then. Some children already attempted suicide mate.

that opens whole can of worms in the form marriage being legally under the age of 18.
This is COMPLETELY and UTTERLY non pertinent. To avoid saying anything worse.

There is absolutely no link between gender identity, and the legal age for Mariage, what are you even spitting out ?

Yes, well I could give you 20 research just here to prove you that yes, there is and yes, it's a fact. But looking at the way you speak, I don't know you but I already pinpointed EXACTLY your value range on the matter.

So I know from a fact that no matter how much studies I can burry you under, you will still find a way to ignore everything and say that its doesn't exist.

So .. la flemme comme on dit.

Yeah you are fucked up if you think children are capable of such decisions.

Nope. That decision should be made by the intersex person themselves, if they want any surgeries or w/e once they are old enough it's their choice, if they want to keep their bodies as they were born it's fine too
Fair enough. I do get why parents make that decision, but i agree with you.

Same with circumcision tbh

NO ONE should make the decision of butchering babies's genitals or assign a gender identity but the individual in question!! It's up to the intersex or trans person person to decide what they want to do with their body and their identity.

Hence why a third gender needs to be created all over the world if that's not already the case. A non binary one.

One where that we would need to assign to ALL children :

- Children would therefore have the choice based on their identity to choose their gender which would reduce drastically if not completely the phenomenon of gender disphoria
- The inequalities and gender bases problematics between men and women would be reduced
- Non binary people would have a gender
- Intersex people would be protected from doctors and families making stupid descision.

With a real third gender, no problem for transpeople, no problem for nonbinaries, no problem for intersex people. And the LGBTQI+ communities would finally starts to be legitimized.

This would be the start of the end of patriarchy and heteronormativity.
Assigning a gender identity doesnt make sense if gender is about self identification anyway.

But sure, no one but the individual in question should make that decision. But in practice im not sure that will work . Cant really have the option of abortion but then make a distinction with altering the body to better fit either of the sexes in appearance. Thats a tough one to make laws about. . .

You cant force everyone on the planet to accept the concept of gender identity though.

And dont we already have more than two genders anyway?

I certainly think it can create identity crisis for kids now I m talking from my experiences with kids so take it as you'd like

Not like that. Not in my knowledge.

Indeed. We can't force people to accept gender identities, just like we can force country to adopt women's right law. And yet, it stays the best solution to remove a lot of problem related to gender.
