Aint like entire scientific community is unanimous about global warming and how if affects climate. It is only gonna get worse from now on unless smth is done
I'd say it's both, climate warming after all often happened without human's intervention, the biggest mass extinction , the Permian-triassic Extinction that turned Pangea into a massive desert and killed most of life 250 Millions of years being the best example, and though humanity is certainely speeding and worsening this one.

People completely ignore the natural process that are involved into this and they naively buy that fucking cars and industries are the sole cause of global warming. Lets not forget there is a giant fucking star sending a shit ton of heat into us..
Plastic isn't the issue, it is how you handle it after usage, nations like India and so on just dont give a shit hence why their rivers are polluted beyond sanity. At least we in Europe have policies in place when it comes to discarding plastic and fines are issued if you don't do it
Well for start we can try and not speed it up so much, it is a natural process which we are fucking up more, leave it come naturally, it ain't natural for me to have 30C temp in middle of October, it aint natural for me not have snow until Feb/March, 10 years ago i had snow in November, I can't remember last time i had white Christmas

Plastic does contaminate food and beverages though. We have microplastics in our bodies.
