Some people think millionaires have a low budget life style.
Yes, because everybody knows that to live a happy life, you need to spend 55 000 $ a month

I'm dumb..

:risitameh:

Actors need to work to maintain their relevance in the industry yes lol.
Of course.. because everybody know that actos have only have one brand deal per year...

I'm dumb..

:risitameh:

Did Inaki do an ad for the Israeli branch for McDonald's yes or no? This is going in circles.
For Mcdonalds, as a brand. Brand that supports Israel. And therefore a brand that support indirectly the genocide and the appartheid.

What do you think happens when OPLA inevitably ends and they don't manage to find work.
They have enough to retire and finance their kids's educations for two generations.

Again.. 320 000 by episode. 8 Episodes. Multiple seasons. Young actor. Newborn star.

MASSIVE PLANETARY HIT

Honestly feel like boycotts of things like McDonald’s and Coca Cola are largely due to the symbolic value of these companies.

These companies are symbolic of the West and America in particular.

That’s why boycotts against them arose organically across various countries.

These companies don’t have a particular stake in middle eastern politics. Which is why Israeli McDonald supports the IDF and Arab McDonald’s stands with Gaza. They literally just want to sell burgers.

McDonald’s is a franchise. Meaning it just sells its brand and IP to Israeli restaurant owners, who then do whatever.
Not in this case. The brand bought back its franchises. 200 of them. So everything is now under the direction of McDonald and directly feeding the Israelian market.

There is no such thing as apolitical support. Either McD. support's Israel's economy and therefore indirectly support the politic of the entire country OR it does not.

Politics matter. We can't just support an apartheid country and brush off the responsibility.

They actually think anyone who goes out to buy a McRib wants to see children get blown up, it's insanity. What about the employees? Are they complicit in genocide too? :ihaha:
The lack of political comprehension is really something in this thread..

RIght now, you sound like this:

You refuse to understand that under a capitalist system, things like underpaid or precary or difficults jobs like mc donalds employee are NOT a choice. And thus.. you do not understand that those people are NOT targetted when we ask for people to boycott products.

The mantra is : Boycott only if you have a choice.

Legally ? No.
Morally ? Yes.

Any influencial person has a moral duty in term of political awareness in a world full of oppressions.

Infuence is one of those power.

And thus, an infuencer or an actor should be able to understand - when told - what is the moral thing to do in front of oppression or injustice and should be able to understand their power and strive to use it for good.

We do not live in a neutral world where our actions have zero consequences.
Thats your opinion my guy

I agree

Like I said previously, a nuanced approach is the politicization of this ad. Which people are doing by calling out the participation of Godoy.

After that, it's all a matter of his own reaction.

If he understands the anger, there is no reason to go beyond. But if he refuses to listen, this will become more complicated. I would still watch the show, because it's One Piece and there was a lot of work behind it that deserve attention, but I wouldl have a critical look on the actor and I would not blame anyone for boycotting the show.
It boils down to people being retarded and inable to disconnect the art from the artist. I couldnt care less about michael jackson being pedo (supposedly), his art is awesome regardless of that

Your decision which burgers or chocolate bars to buy has absolutely zero impact on anything any country decides to do.

It merely gives you arbitrary moral brownie points to brag about
