My guy....you cant make comments like this while being so out of the loop. It just ignores the root of the "problem."

All in the name of getting rid of DEI, with the actual purpose being the downsize the government and replace them with yes men.
I may be out of the loop entirely or just out of that conversation, you probably have a better idea of it than I do and it's your decision whether that conflict really mattera or not

@Blax Blah

To sum up, I was very confrontational at my arrival on this forum (more than today), I considered that people here were responsible of harrassment on Carrot's fans in the Nakama thread, so I came with a beef to call out this behavior. I used a lot of "you don't know X", "you don't understand Y", "you are toxic".

This created a situation where suddendly the 20 ish people who were banterring their Carrot's (and Yamato's) hatred directed their attention toward me and attacked me like crazy.

Moderators, Van included, didn't take that well and didn't like the fact that I started to call out the inaction of the moderation. Which left me with a threadBan of a month (calling me toxic for calling others toxic). I came back.. called out once again their inaction and the toxicity of the people here, same things.

I was not very politicized at the time, so I had a very individualized notion of systems. I thought that it was a indiividual problem at first.

After that, I started to poke the system and question the political leaning of the thread as I started to see some real conservative pattern, especially in the way people were talking about the women that were the subject of the "war" (Yamato and Carrot). This lead me to realize that the problem was a bit more structural and maybe political. Again, my approach was not really perfect, I again thought that by politicizing people, it would be possible to make them understand the subject and be less toxic.

In the meantime, the CarrotForNakama theory (Carrot will join af ter Wano) was disproven, which legitimated all the bullying that I faced.

I saw the creatiion of this political thread as an opportunity and I asked for the creation of asensitive section. Which TAC granted me. And thus, I started to develop political thinking and dive deeper into the questionning of the system of the forum and the methodology of the moderation.

By doing that, I had to label people and help clarify the political spectrum of this forum. So I used my different posts about diverses subjects such as the release of Hogward Legacy, the rise of the far right in the US, abortion, capitalism, meritocracy, to distinguish my political ennemies from my political allies. Thus, once again, creating a BIG target on my head because I also have the tendancy to talk a lot and disrespect politely those I have a big political beef with.

This included AL and Van. Which I labelled like everyone else or, more precisely, I refused to call a leftist (for various political reasons). They didn't liked that, especially Van, who has been using the end of my theory (and a comment about the racism of some fans against nonhuman character) as a way to attack my legitimacy here since the beginning.

The rest has been a year of back and forth. "you said that, you are uneducated" "you don't understand" "you are not a real leftist", sometimes from both of us.

I consider that Van, despite his historical knowledge has a MAJOR blindspot concerning sociology, anticapitalism and most gender struggles which makes him the tool of the conservatist here and he thinks i'm a joke and a caricature of a leftist who can't explain things properly and does not understand what real leftism is on top of having bad knowledge.

In short, we are like oil and water on a fundamental level.

What do you mean the revolution was pushed by intellectuals ? What are you talking about here ?
also* pushed

Various authors, writers, intellectuals and politicians helped, theorized and nourrished the revolutionnary debate at the time.

The french revolution was a period of extrem social awareness and political debate. It's was everywhere. A bit like Twitter but in the entire streets of Paris. Intellectuals helped in pushing fundamental ideas through letters, books, essays and journals.

Today, our range of action is excessively more important:
- We have scientists who can publish and render accessible fundamental studies
- We have medias who can distribute knowledge very quickly to millions
- We have influencers who can vulgarize and spread fundamental knowledge in an instant
- We have a ranger of amazing tools to organize without even needed to be in the streets
- We have strong associations and a connected world that can spread a big info instantly.

Revolution will not be only in the streets. It will be on all fronts.

It really doesn't matter. But when everyone across the boards unites against one person in every thread they show up in, all because of their attitude, it should speak volumes.

Blax, you can't unite with people who think your political side is stupid. Revolution must start yes, but it will be made by those who are willing to make it, not by those who use the tool of the oppressor to attack the side that want positive change.

USA will now have official policy - they will recognise only 2 genders.
First you talked about sexes though.

Oh so you are a psychic that knows the past of every user engaging in this thread?

Interesting
The past of users ? No. Only the political leaning.

It's not hard to do. And that's what most people here do not get. It's like a triangulation.

In politics, there are what you may call points of conflicts. Those are the precise political point that will usually be the indicators for the distinction of two political side on a similar political spectrum.

To understand your political leaning, all I need to do is target those specific points. Of course there will be exceptions and sometimes aberration in the systems but by multiplying the points of attack, we usually arrive at a clear distinction of the political side of a person.

Basic example:

To distinguish people who understand the problem with colonialism and people who don't, ask them about the Israel Palestine conflict. If their answer is to minimize the oppression of Palestinian or the genocide happening, you can be sure that they do not understand the problem with the notion of imperialism, colonialism and have big biases for the crypto fascism of the far right gov of Israel. So you can by defaut place all those people on the right side of the political spectrum as the left is - by principle - against that process.

You repeat that with plenty of subject to get a more precise vision (trans people, capitalism, abortion, meritocracy) and you will manage to AT LEAST see who is close to you in term of political leaning and who is your major political ennemy.

It's just a question of logic.

It goes without saying how disingenuous MAGA was with the nazi salute, but I'd rather post this so it becomes hilariously retarded to claim these politicians did the same things.

Lol goddamn. A perfect neo-nazi salute. That's an insane coincidence if it was unintentional. The smart thing would've been for him to apologize to emulating it, but instead called everyone stupid for saying it looked like a salute.

so how do you know that they didnt get to their current political opinions and values through deep self questioning?

you dont
It's very important to to understand why someone thinks the way they do. One of the reasons Trump got so massive was because he listened to people and gave them very simple answers to their problems while validating their feelings. Also a reason shits like Andrew Tate could gain a massive following.

We're only 2 days in and we already have a myriad of executive orders that set back years and years of hard fought progress. It's infuriating seeing foreigners in this thread celebrate that knowing that families will be separated, dreamers are again threatened, while the billionaire class gets richer by the day.

It's a dark time for America.

Indeed ?

I never questionned that. I expressed the fact that almost no one here took a deep dive look at themselves DURING the debates on this forum. I'm the only one who actively expressed the fact - multiple time - of being fundamentally wrong in my political approach an some of my political beliefs. And yet, I'm targetted as the one who never questions their belief and think everyone is stupid.

I'm pointing out the contradiction.

From the moment I arrived here, you guyz have been confusing the form (my confrontationnal approach), with the legitimacy of my political knowledge.

My approach being very direct act as a offensive weapon for me, but also as a shield for you to justify your lack of questionning. On top of that, there is a bias here toward leftist ideas that can't be broken.

And you can test that very easily. Blax has been sharing a LOADS of very relevant knowledge about anarchism here and he has been ignored 95% of the time even tho we have a lot's of common point. This shows that in reality, it's not me, but the knowledge the problem. You guy will not reply to blax simply because you would need to find a new way to discredit his political approach and it will be very hard. So you prefer to attack my confrontational attitude instead. It's much easier. It does need you to think.

But this is ending now. I will let the field to those who want to talk about leftism in peace. And we will see if you guyz will be able to listen or not.

I hope to be proven wrong.

America is dominated by right wing media and the 2 biggest social platforms(Twitter and Facebook) are also right leaning. Reddit may follow suit as well if the CEO wants to follow the money.

America has been a corporate oligarchy for like 60 years and yeah.. its gonna get much worse.

The revolution from 1789 to 1799 ? You talking about the Lumières ? And those educated who were in favour of the republic ? I guess so.
