Cooler heads eventually prevail, but there are fewer of them in any given room on any given day than ever before…I don’t think WW3 is imminent, but I do feel like we’re inching closer to something colossally catastrophic with all these unchecked egos

are people incapable of comprehending the fact that Cuban Americans and foreign national cuban immigrants are different people?

I’ve seen numerous posts on Reddit seemingly by “liberals”, laughing at the fact that Cuban Americans mostly voted for Trump only for Trump to strip protections from Cuban immigrants.

They act like it is the Trump voters who are losing their immigration status and are being deported. But it’s a completely different group of people. The Cubans being deported aren’t American citizens, they are Cuban nationals who were given temporary protections that Trump rescinded. They didn’t vote for Trump because they literally cant vote.

but Redditors will just act like these are all the same people and that the Cubans are just getting what they deserved for supporting trump.

And if you happen to point out that it is foreign nationals and not American citizens of Cuban descent being deported, they’ll mass downvote you because they’ll think you’re defending trump or something.

A lot of libs cant seem to grasp the fact that many American citizens who themselves are immigrants also aren’t the most supportive of asylum seekers and illegal immigrants who don’t have citizenship.

which is why like 40-50% of Latinos voted for Trump. Maybe Trump’s policies will hurt them. But also, these are families who often don’t have immigration issues, not all Latinos have undocumented friends or family. Many just don’t care.

Which of course, we ALL did down here at that age and merely had the benefit of beings boys for one. They're laughing at her parents for trying to sue the gym and when they go to hell, I kinda think I should go too so I can make sure someone is punching them.

War is subject to change. Before WWI people couldn't imagine what high powered firearms could do on such a large scale. They were completely traumatized. WWII was different once again.
