Unfortunately, we need a gov to provide police, tribunals and an army. So taxes are necessary. But anymore than that isn't. I'm not rich, but i ain't broke either. Taxes are one of the reasons i'm planning to migrate soon. I'm not financing any gov that uses my money to do shit that goes against my moral compass. Brazil has taxes like Switzerland and public services like Somalia. How isn't that theft? Where is all that money going into? Answer: Politicians, Bankers and Oligarchs bank accounts.
