Having the brain of a child is one thing; desiring the body of one is another. 16 is also the age of consent in plenty of American states, but it’s still considered statutory if you’re above 21; it’s a minimum requirement, not the target age range. I guess I take for granted that most people in here are on the younger side, but it’s still wild to see y’all doing these mental gymnastics just so you can feel better about having to rob the cradle in the pursuit of getting laid

It's not just you doing that, it's the law and the general societal consensus, to protect children from being exposed to adulthood too early.
And also the right thing to do.

If it can make them understand what it is to live under a systemic oppressive situation, I'm okay with sharing that with them.

They need to understand what capitalism is doing to people like me.

To understand why I don't have the same vision of sadness as you, you would have to understand how I see the world today compared to how I saw it back when I had reactionnaries and confused ideas. That's sadly something you won't get now just like you won't get what it is to count your money every day, to be unable to live and to be in survival mode at all time, to be unsure if you will have a home in the next year, month or week.

I'm living that. And obviously, you don't. I'm not the poor in the worst condition, I don't have a social life which allows me to keep money for me. But this is still precarity. Would be nice for you to start being an actual human being and develop some empathy here.
