Because it's legal that means it's always right. So I guess because some states make it legal to fuck 16 year olds, and some places in other countries even have the age of the consent lower than that (i.e Japan had it at 13 for a while), that means it's actually okay to do that even if you're a grown adult.

I think that’s just how hardcore folks in any spiritual denomination operate, traditional religion is inherently conservative because it demands adherence to a set of rules that have existed in the same form for thousands of years. Either way, agreeing on what is and is not a genocide is better than engaging with the shithead righties who couldn’t act even slightly respectable if their worthless lives depended on it
