Yep. The biggest element of this is the Electric Universe theory, though. Our Planet has been fought over a lot, for a few simple reasons, with resources and location being the two biggest ones.
Our species makes for fantastic slaves. If you feed us, give us well-crafted lies, and give us enough distractions, we can do a LOT of shit while looking the other way. Look at how many countries claim they hate rape/murder, when their military/political history is built off of them.
Have you looked into the amount of liveable worlds that exist? Not a place where life CAN happen, but Planets/Celestial Spheres where life can thrive? Based on all the research we've done, there aren't many Planets/Celestial Spheres that can produce ecosystems as diverse and functional as Earth's. We are a diamond in the rough of space. Our PLANET is incredibly valuable, and we are viewed as disposable by many Advanced Races (when I say Advanced Race, I mean technology, not necessarily ethics/community).
Modern humans are a slave race created by a mix of Ancient Humans/Extraterrestrials. Because our evolution can be so powerful (see the various superpowers humans can gain, such as Telepathy, super-strength, high levels of precision, etc), they fear our evolution. Our species has been created/destroyed a few times, due to rebellion against the "Gods", ie Advanced Races controlling us. Some of those "Gods" (I'll just call them Advanced Races, ARs) grew sick of this genocide and slavery, because... well, it's gross. Slavery and genocide are fucking gross.
The reason we're so advanced compared to other apes isn't because we're "special", it's because Advanced Races accelerated our evolution so we'd be more useful to them, which is why our species is such a ridiculous outlier in terms of evolution compared to other similar Apes. In the WAY BACK, before the Pyramids, Ancient Humans also existed, but, due to wars way back, they died off. Some of the genetic recreations of our species was benign, with the intent to fix the sins of the past, and recreate us after we were more or less genocided due to these conflicts beyond us.
The wars described in religious texts/fables are interpretations of the Ancient Wars fought over the Planet, and our existence, mostly the recent ones (last 100,000 years). The mass extinction event 7,000 years ago is one such event, depicted in the Indian religious texts.

The shitty ARs REALLY like using human women as sex slaves (a lot of religious texts get into this, since most of them are heavily distorted historical accounts), so, they'll typically wipe the male population off, but leave a lot of women, if they can.
The Pyramids were built by an Ancient Civilization that sought to unite the Planet, and give free energy/power to all. They serve as both power plants and a defense grid when active. Tesla was researching this, and is where I'd recommend to look if you want real truth. That's why they stole his shit: all the wars of these cults fade away if free energy exists and is shared ethically. So, they stole Tesla's work he gained from researching the past and discredited him.
The "good" ARs fear us because, when united, our species can be very good OR very bad. Take the amazing science the Nazis accomplished while being the scum of the earth. Our evolution scares them, because our species is capable of such ridiculous levels of evil. We've done some wild shit in the past. The evil ARs just want to use us as slaves for their empires, and have infiltrated most power structures in the world for these purposes, and murder anyone who starts to research the true history/uncover these truths. Hence the litany of dead whistleblowers/ridiculous government censorship regarding topics that, on the surface, seem like silly science fiction.
The Stargate series is fun/campy, very loosely accurate soft disclosure. Best hard disclosure out there is probably the X-Files. Governments selling their own people out, to try to survive their crimes by sucking up to evil Advanced Races. Don't trust any government disclosure, they are hoes and cretins of the highest caliber, trust the people they go after, instead.
This Ancient Civilization that sought world peace was destroyed/taken over around 13,000 years ago, via attacks on the Pyramid energy/defense grid, though you can find traces/lingering bits of it everywhere.
The current "rulers" are the descendants of those that enacted this genocide, and rebuilt the world as they wished through secret societies, which gave birth to the ridiculous secret societies we have no running our governments from behind the scenes, and killing anyone (like JFK) who cause them problems.
Their end goal is to make our species a totally subservient slave race, but, they will always fail, because they are incredibly short-sighted (keep in mind some of the civilizations I'm describing are millions of years old, they should know better by now) and amazingly unlikeable.
I have connections to this Ancient Kingdom, and, as such, view the current rulers of this Planet as parasitic gits that deserve everything that's coming to them in the next few years.
