Monké Don't Do Taxes
Narutally depression can come from unhappiness, but that unhappiness can come from a feeling of stagnation. You do the same things every day whether it's wake up in the same room, talk to the same people, do the same hobbies, work at the same place etc. every single day until you feel burnt out from your everyday life. It's like playing the same video game 24/7 that was fun at first but now feels boring. You need new stimulus for your life but you're so bored and burnt out from the stagnation that it can be difficult mustering the energy to persue or even think about said stimulation. You life can feel pointless and empty since there is no progress or change being made in your life.

But that's just one way to feel depressed.

True and Life Stagnation comes because of a lack of purpose or reason to wake up.
Like if you unlocked everything there is to unlock in a game, you lose interest. Hence New enviroment almost always heals.

I don’t know if antidepressants solve any problems though
I was depressed for ~ 3 years
The worst thing someone can say to a depressed person is "why are you depressed? You have no reason to. Be grateful etc."
People should take this more serious

I overcame my depression for years but last week something triggered my feelings again
I nearly lost my mind
I’m totally fine now but I questioned myself if I really overcame it or just suppressed my feelings

I guess there’s a difference between "yeah I’m happy" and "I found inner peace"
I think this topic is overall complicated
Nothing in life is relevant and eventually everyone dies. Always remember this and nothing can faze you.

I do think this is a little too nihilistic. There is purpose to living a good life in the positive emotions you experience or bring to those around you.
Accepting death is reality is good, but simply living hedonistically as nothing else matters can bring a profound sense of listlessness and dissatisfaction.

Don't see where in my post you found nihilism or hedonism but ok

every word is made up and cis is not even a new word
Still, it's not something to be offended at one way or the other. :milaugh:
Anyone who attacks someone by calling them CIS or a "cissy" as the tweet suggested.... is literally saying: "Haha, you're a person who was born in a body you're comfortable with."
Like... wtf... isn't the trans movement meant to be about self-acceptance...?
