Naturally. Politics is complicated and nuanced, but so many turn it into a simple black n' white, good vs evil. There are only 2 sides and you are either with me or against me and since I'm a good person who wants the best for everyone, you must be a bad person who wants the worst for everyone.

Because it’s an ideology. Just like religion there must be something wrong with whoever doesn’t subscribe to your idea of the world. Most of the people in this thread are ideologues and they don’t know it

I really wonder if other countries don't have better laws about protesting.

Here in Brazil you need Governament approve. They will shut down a street. Protesters will have police protection. But there will be other ways to move around the city. So the traffic will get worse but no one will be blocked.

Also I'm hearing a theory that Oil Companies like Shell, Texaco etc are financing this shitty so the movement looks stupid and generates hate on people.

No it is impossible to do it.

People are moved by their religions.

One thing is you not obligate others to follow your religion. Other thing is to not execute, legislate and judge based on those beliefs given by your religion. A catholic never would(or at least never should) vote/accept gay marriage for example because their religion is strictly against it.

Just to explain better. Gay marriage in the sense of Catholic Church marriage. Civil marriage is another thing.
