I know about that.
But I don’t think the Islamic world would be so angry at the Jews if not for the occupation.
Like yeah, antisemitism always existed in the Muslim world. But I don’t think it was the same as it is currently. Where Pakistani terrorists came down to Mumbai specifically to kill Jews.

Yeah that’s true. But there was a certain point where it stopped being about Jewish liberation and just turned into imperialism.
The Israelis don’t need Gaza or the West Bank. But because the latter was the site of Judaea and Samaria, a lot of radical Jews want to conquer the land from the Arabs and symbolically restore the ancient kingdoms.
The most radical ones event want to destroy Al Aqsa to rebuild the third temple.
To me, while there are surely similarly radical people on the Arab side, if not for the jewish extremists, I think there could have been a peace deal.
Does that hold the Jews to a higher standard? Yeah. But then again, that’s the entire point of judaism.

But I doubt that the Quran suggests Muslims should engage in wanton terrorism against Jews or polytheists.

I m not sure how jewish history tells the tale but according to islamic historical records goes something like this
when islam was taking its baby steps most jews saw it as threat and did everything they could to stop it so naturally they fought many wars against muslims
its quite normal that both sides portrays one another as the bad guys in my opinion

The shoah didn't happen because of Israel, it happenned because Fascist played on the fear concerning the Jew just like fascist now are playing on the fear to target Jews (in america), Muslims (In europe) and LGBTQ+ (a bit everywhere).
The problem is fascism and the far right in general.

Let's not assume anything. Muslim are not bad guys, Jews are not bad guys, Hindous are not bad guys.
