Even I who would argue modern day liberalism is more center left would agree that at its core liberalism is pretty center on the political spectrum. Liberalism being inherently right wing sounds like some unironic communist propaganda. The type who believe anything short of a revolution is right wing

Because it is. It's the liberal vs conservative team plays. Conservatives are right wing so lots of liberals paint themselves as the opposite. Most of them focus primarily on social politics instead of economic ones, and advocate for great change which pushes them left.

1. Government slows down their spending
2. Government gets more tax money to pay off the debt
3. Can get that tax money if they properly tax the rich instead of allowing them to pay pennies to nothing.

Proper taxing would also open the door for universal Healthcare, and minimum housing and education.
