I think you should read about this thing called WW2 if you want to see actual genocide. Countries would lose 2-3 million people in 1 single battle.

Again Genocide is a contentious word. For example, a lot of historians don't consider the Holodomor a genocide despite hundreds of thousands dying due to USSR mismanagement and negligence because the intent is not there
