I believe that they have to ban it to avoid trouble with the law as hate speech law are fickle, and they want to avoid those things. So I would say that in that perspective, they have to.

Unfortunately I agree with this, it's very hard to draw a line and ban hate speech without actually restricting honest free speech for good people. It should remain legal yet strongly discouraged.

They actually played some of the GoPro footage yesterday to politicians in the Knesset, including arab ones which served in the previous government.
