Wait wait I don't understand.... What legal battle ? And why tf kid was taken out?
For what I understood the kid had a disease that was incurable, the kid was dying and keeping her alive would only prolong her pain.
The doctors decided to let her die in peace and remove the life-support. The parents disagreed. This went to courts where they decided to follow the doctors decision. The parents are in pain because of that.

Mitochondrial disease if treated properly , not "cured" because that sort of impossible , but if treated with care and medication can survive up to 7 years. She was just 8 months old.
To be honest,as a lawyer, I don't think her case would be this simple. Since this would be something that the courts would have to decide and even a lawman, let alone a lawyer, should put this information on the table. Notice how it was noted that she was dying and in pain and the only the parents seemed to disagree. I personally don't doubt that this issue was brought by the parent's lawyer and, after the case was reviewed by different doctors, that she was one of the cases where treatment would not be effective ''long term'' since this was not even mentioned at the time.

And Vatican and Italy were willing to treat her disease

This will break the Catholic church
It's SOOOOOOO over for the world's oldest continuous mafia cult

to clarify: I am talking about the Catholic church as an organization, I'm not calling believers of Catholicism cult members or mafiosi
Pagan is a way

The Catholic church wants to stay relevant. They will do anything to not return to insignificance.
The Catholic church is like the zombie of an empire that refuses to die.
It's true. The thing is, this will just drive away their adherents.
Those who still appreciate the archaism of their rules will be pushed away.
It's like a form of diversification that ignores the 'loyal fanbase' so to speak.
It's doomed to fail and add another nail to their coffin.

Go and found your own Catholic branch then. People disagree on religious matters all the time.
Personally, I never understood what Rome has to do with Jesus but to each their own I guess

The order itself is remarkably convoluted. I think Francis frankly always sounds like a great guy and it's kind of amazing how they don't just shred his ass apart considering how he's always leaning in this direction and it's so sure to be reviled.
