Thinking that kid don't know who they are is stripping them completely of their agentivity. When a kid is traversing gender disphoria, we are not talking about a simple confusion on wether the kid think they are a boy or a girl, we are talking about a REAL SUFFERING with REAL COMORBIDITIES that can lead toward suicide or suicidal attempts.

This is not a game of who's who here.

Problem is, a huge chunk of these people that undergo the knife end up dead by suicide anyway. You fail to see these people need psychological and psychiatric assistance and not surgery. We already do that with anorexic people and people that are schizophrenic.

99% of trans people (I don't know the exact number) who underwent surgery will tell you that it changed their lives for the better.
