It truly is. Things would be better if people accept that majority of people dont operate by what's right and wrong, but convenience. They would bend the moral scale however they can to get that convenient outcome whether it's mental or physical. Their own personal beliefs, and validation for such beliefs, is the convenient outcome.

Hey, man, i think this whole thread was a bad idea. We don't really get to debate religion in here. I don't think most users are mature enough to have this talk without getting personal. I think it's time this thread gets nuked. It overstayed it's welcome. Last few hundred pages were nothing more than trolling and nasty shit being thrown around. This isn't really a debate anymore. I think secretly you guys keep this thread cause you guys enjoy seeing the ban gaunlet. I don't really expect anything to be done about it. Just my 2 cents.

So many people just say absolute nonsense when it comes to politics it's hilarious. I still remember just about a week ago I was ridiculed for saying trans men can't be lesbians (didn't on say that on this site though).. And they were genuinely deeply offended by it too.

I'm not debating on why, when or how i got personal. That post wasn't a personal complaint, but rather a suggestion. Wait, really, this place has less bans than battledome? Weebos are fucking angry in here lmfao. Anyway, i really think this place added nothing to the forum. This place has being very quiet lately. I know part of the reason is Oda dropping the ball in Elbaf, but i think this place would be more active if it had some more interesting subforums.
You clearly underestimate how salty weebs can get if you think the politics section would get more bans than the OP sections. I mean you gotta realize there's tons of weebs who would probably throw a random manga artist in the brazen bull just because they didn't make their favorite ship canon. And god forbid any other fans of that manga try to talk sense into them, they'd get tied to a tree and drop kicked in the stomach until they puked pure water and blood
Same reasons as to how people could convince themselves that lynching people over skin color was somehow the morally just thing to do. Most people are very insecure and lack self awareness, and constantly seek validation for their beliefs. It's such easier believing in conforting lies than harsh truths. Being wrong is negatively impacts their self image and perceived reputation in their eyes.

I know this is a thing, but battledome and the other stuff attracts a different demographic. Politics is more of an old men topic. Younger people have less empathy cause they brains are still not fully developed. I have taking a quickly look on some forums about politics and religion and the stuff here is really up there with the worst when it comes to toxicity.

People can get threadbanned and what not but at the end of the day they can't be genuinely punished for their wrongdoings. I could lose my marbles and go on the biggest tangent about how I'd beat you to death and call you slurs and what not, and at the end of the day I'd only get a perma ban. It's far different from real life where if I said that to you or anyone else, they'd probably have me biting the curb for that.
People just can't get any real consequences on the internet unless they're doing borderline illegal shit like doxxing someone or distributing CP. So they run their mouths saying and doing anything they want.
