Would you protect your son if he comitted a crime that could lead him to a death penalty sentence?

The more I think about it I'll probably drive him to the best lawyer I could find and turn himself in with a lawyer by his side.

I just don't follow blind loyalty to family. I'd love my kids but your fuck ups as an adult are just that, yours. I use the rape example again, if for example your son rapes Megyn Kelly or Nancy Mace would you protect him if he confessed to you?

I depends on the victim, can there be reparation for an innocent victim by handing your relatives to the police. If yes, then there is no reason to keep them away.

You clearly don’t have a son though. I’m not sure I would call the cops if my parents killed someone. Would probably shut my trap and the law couldn’t blame me for this or slightly depending on legislations

Yup I don't have a son. With parents are different, specially if you are financially dependent on them. But well, my dad is a criminal and we had the option to call the police on him or suffer for the rest of our lives until he decides to kill us.

Its still a loaded question but I'd say I'm overall center-left due to realism. For example, the changes I believe are necessary are very anti-capitalist and socialistic in nature, but capitalism isn't going anywhere anything soon. So strong regulations will have to do in this lifetime.
