It's fine to do that. It's far different from hating on the entire race as that's just straight up bigotry and I don't stand for bigotry towards any group no matter if they're oppressed.

Funny how I always see that specific thing happen with people who just want to excuse bigotry
Last time it happened was from a person who was being transphobic to trans men and insinuating they can be lesbians because "Well the term may be universally agreed upon as women loving women but I can change it to my own will! I've won!"

Let me guess, you asked a dictionnary and you are now using said definition to explain that people who face systemic oppression are not reasonable in their anger.

Did you know that non binary people can be trans people too ?
And therefore if someone (lesbian and non binary) who has more than one gender... identify as man sometimes, it's perfectly natural for them to identify as lesbian. You would therefore have a trans man (technically) identifying as a lesbian.
Transidentity, gender and sexualities are complex spectrum. You can't just say to people with lived experiences "you can't be that". Espacially when it doesn't change anything for you lol

Just people who identify as men and nothing else
idk im kinda confused because a transphobe wouldnt need to alter the definition 
well
some people like to pretend they're lgbtq supporters and what not
but say transphobic things
so they're a transphobe but they don't want to admit it
hence why they try to make sense of a man being a lesbian without sounding like a plain bigot
