Nah this is a niche powerscaling brainrot forum. Most people here don't read One Piece for the things One Piece actually does, which is totally fine with me.

Like Van said he's purposefully beating around the bush. It's like someone saying "I think women should be treated like they were in the 50s" and then when you ask them if they're a misogynist they go "Nope never said women should be beat or treated like living sex dolls or personal maids or anything else that happened in the old days"

so again to dismantle this would be to just point to other sexually dimorphic animals, like leaf insects of the genus phyllium
that reproduce sexually but are also capable of parthenogenesis, or many of the sexually dimorphic animals that have homosexual relations, whether casual ones or lasting monogamous relationships (and even adopting young).
so clearly there is no good reason to accept the premise that sexually dimorphic species need to be heterosexual in their behavior.
