I mean sure but I never said we need that much
Just that we need meat in general
We can evolve beyond it, but, yeah.

Also, if some animals wasn't farmed/hunted for meat, it would literally lead to overpopulation.

My line is this: I don't like hunting/eating animals that are intelligent enough to maintain stable populations. If a species doesn't over-reproduce, and will maintain a population level that balances with the ecosystem, I don't like eating them. Why I really want to stop eating cows, and what not.

Some animals would literally over-run entire areas if they didn't have natural predators, and, unfortunately, humans destroying many natural predators means we need to

A: Find a way to keep these populations level without their natural predators (which is a fucking mess and often leads to stupid invasive species being brought over to compound the problem - GLARES AT AUSTRALIA AND THE USA - )
B: Reintroduce predators that maintain those populations

Like, the people hunting wolves are such stupid fucks

Wolves will maintain their own population sensibly, humans stole all the livestock, left the wolves no cows/sheep to eat in the wild, then bitched when the wolves went hungry.

The Boy Who Cried Wolf is my all time favorite example of how scummy and stupid adults are.

"We left this kid alone on a mountain with wolves, why do they keep yelling?"

SOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCKING DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMB

Ugh

It's cause the kid didn't want to get eaten by wolves, after you stole all the food they eat with your shitty ecological practices DUHHHHHHHHH stupid ass humans.

The good ending is the kid surviving, befriending the wolves, and helping them eat the fucking villagers that left the kid on the mountain alone with wolves in the damn first place.

No one:

CoC: "The good ending was when the shitty adults in the village got eaten by wolves."

Are you talking about real wolves or werewolves?
"What if the reason they're hiding the Epstein files isn't to protect Trump, but the fact that this is a billion dollar global child sex trafficking ring that's still operational under someone else's leadership and they're trying to hide any connections to politicians around the world?"
This this this this this

I think it's fine to eat things like steak and all that, other animals have a track record for eating animals to survive and be healthy after all, the problem is when we stop doing it purely as a survival of the fittest thing and start doing it for the fun of it. I.e mass breeding animals to make things we don't even need like chicken nuggets, or foie gras (easily one of the most deplorable origins for a food)
but tbh, boycotting this on a private level isnt going to achieve anything, the meat industry is smart enough to also cash in on the veggie/vegan market anyway. another big issue lies in the extreme selective breeding in the domestication of animals, like for example certain dog breeds with severe medical issues.

I think it's for the best. Assassin's creed, while fun, is completely lost on politi, completely centrist and fundamentally neo-colonist in mindset.

Such game would require more than just historians, but also political activists (anti-racists mainly). I don't think they are ready for that.
Nah I was too focused on the content, I was wrong here, I'm taking that back. This would be for the best if the reason was the content, but the problem is the political climate here. As such, this is a very bad move in a rising fascist society. This game needs to exist.

Yeah I'm aware it's pretty hard to make them stop what they're doing
It's just the way this world is tbh

???

What do you think boycotts are for dude?

If you boycott a product you will send a clear message to the producr that this product is not desired by society. Therefore they will produce less of that product and more on what society wants.

What your message says is that you only care about seeing the company bankrupt

no im saying you are not hurting the meat industry if you turn to veggie/vegan products that the meat industry is selling lmao.

i mean sure this obviously isnt true for the entirety of veggie/vegan products, but still

Of course you are. If they are profiting from non-meats then the meat industry is getting hurt. If the company also owns non-meat products that's connected to the person not the industry.

The farmer who "produces" the cows, chickens etc that will be killed in order to provide meat will start to sell less because the demand got smaller and if this go on for too much they will end up changing their productions as well.

Is simple economy you guys seems to don't understand yet keep believing in any conspiracy theory.

The meat industry of your country thrives off of clearing ecologically crucial forests and murdering indigenous people. Sit down Lerrera and shut up for once.
