The reality is that victims of abuse are not perfect. That getting away from abuse is not a straight road, that women (and some men) are not allowed to have this path. That if women simply raise their hand in defense, they will get hammered down by the justice & mediatic system. This is the reality of women under abuse. Heard wasn't perfect, but was still the victim of a man.
