The funny thing is, this is basically the plot of One Piece, which surprises me that Oda as a Japanese man would go this deep into Christian lore. He's drawn from other religions like Hinduism and Buddhism, even Middle Eastern mythology, but he's made the Jesus story the center of his story.
JB is clearly an ancient Jesus-like figure, and everyone is waiting for the second coming for him to liberate them. Most of the world believes this, since both Muslims and Christians believe Jesus will come back (that's 55% of the world), so this is not some hardcore lore.
What shocked me was the Constantine conversion lore. Before he converted he had a vision that said "En touto nika"/by this sign conquer. The Greek word "Nike" meaning victory/conquer is where the brand Nike also comes from.
With Kuma he even held a bible nearby, and got turned into a Pacifista "PX". PX was literally the sign that Constantine saw, called the Chi-Ro (a combination of 2 letters representing Christ in Greek)
