I've come to realize there have always been two Abhrahamic religions since Jesus.
One religion run by the rich, that has rape, lying, and thievery as its core. The big one pretending to be a bunch of different ones.
Then real spirituality, what Jesus/Buddha were doing, that have love, empathy, knowledge, and sharing at their core.
And they are just not compatible. One punches down and sucks up to tyrants that like raping and killing kids, the other feeds the kids getting hurt, and punches up into the face of the bullies.
One is based in good and truth, the other filth and lies.
It was never about race, gender sexuality, any of that crap
It is purely an ideology problem.

It is ideological and I suppose it is not religious - their society has ingrained into its populace the notion that Palestinians are second class beings (not citizens).
Every video survey I've seen shows even average joes (young and old) saying "oh yeah, they should be killed/imprisoned/sent away".
Before any whataboutism comes my way:
I have no doubt the majority of Palestinians feels the same way.
However!
Palestinians started out as welcoming neighbours before Israel was established and have been getting turned inside out over 8 decades now.
Equating their positions is absurd.

Sadly the situation is a problem of organization of society. People don't start thinking "these people are not human", it's the organization of society, usually colonial or fascist and racist that push these ideas. Such fascist ideology can't be countered by rationalism or "new ideas", it needs a complete restructuration of society to even the condition of living of people.
The solution is for Israel to dissolve into a new state of Palestine. I believe current Israeli can have their place in such country, but it needs to be organized with anticolonialism in mind.
