as far as I m understanding both sides think the conditions are too much and neither side is willing to give an inch

I don't think i've seen a single example of productive negotiations that included all three of Iran, Israel, and the USA. Some decent US and Iran negotiations, but Israel and Iran negotiations are soooo bad right now, and they've always been rough at best.

When Pakistan is by far the most sane country involved in the negotiations, that's probably the first indication that everything is going very wrong.

Not optimistic but I don't think any party is interested in resuming the war. Also, ceasefire often acts like cooling off period. It breaks the momentum and escalation. Things do cool down.


Ceasefire is an opportunity to keep war at bay and have multiple rounds of negotiation.

But then it requires diplomatic will and Trump to shut his mouth.
