Controversial General Religion Thread

"Over there somewhere around Iraq or Iran, there's a bunch of apostate muslims called Satan-worshippers. But they don't have any songs of praise of what their great Satan did for them.

We have here in America a fellow named LaVey out in California that worships Satan. But the kids don't sing any love songs to him. You say kids, yeah children.

You ever heard any little buddhist children singing "oh how I love Buddha because he first loved me" ? You never will.

You're short!

People sing when they get happy. You're not happy. Otherwise you'd sing.

Sing about what? About whoever founded your religion.

Did Muhammad found your religion? Alright let's sing "Muhammad I love you, I know thou art mine", you know"

@AL sama @Logiko @Zenos7 @Roo @NikaInParis @Elder Lee Hung @Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplier @Jiihad
I don't understand your point.
Also the tags didn't work

Mahomets Gesang" (Mahomet's Song) is a poem written by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in 1772–1773, published in 1774, which serves as a hymn of praise to the Prophet Muhammad, depicting him as a powerful, life-giving river. It was originally intended for a drama about the Prophet that was never completed.
P.S. same guy that wrote Tragedy of Dr. Faust aka the OG sell your soul to the devil story.
by Goethe aka peak European literature:

" Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, and good will toward men.” No glory to God, no peace. Got it? Does higher education give the glory to God? Does the news media? Do the doctors and lawyers? Do you? God gave America up to sex perverts (literally: see Rom. 1:26–27) because Americans did not give Him glory (literally: see Rom. 1:21). No glory to God, no peace. What we have here are two words that pop up which, when applied to what the Koran teaches and Moslems believe, don’t really mean anything. The first of these words is “Islam,” which doesn’t mean anything because it can only be applied to a single nation. There is no such thing as “THE Islamic Nation.” There are more than two dozen. “Islam,” in itself, means nothing, because the word itself (meaning “submission” or “obedience”) is applied to a dead sinner who never got out of the grave. You are to obey him.

Then up pops a dead man, a fornicating killer who practiced polygamy and slavery, and he tells you that if you obey him you are obeying Allah! “Whoever obeys the Messenger, he indeed obeys Allah. And whoever turns away, We have not sent thee as a keeper over them” (Sura 4:80).

What modern Christians don’t seem to get is that God’s love is found in one person: Jesus Christ (Rom. 8:39); it is found in one place: at Calvary (Rom. 5:8). Just because God is good, merciful, and longsuffering to a sinner doesn’t mean He loves him enough to keep him out of Hell if that sinner rejects the payment God requires for that sinner’s sins.

For example, the Book accurately predicts forty-eight details of a man’s life before He is born, and some of the predictions are given 1,000 years before He is born. All come to pass literally as prophesied. The chances (mathematically) of this happening—according to Heisenberg’s “uncertainty principle” and Einstein’s mathematics—is one out of ten to the 157th power. There are not that many electrons in the known Universe.

So according to random polemical work Islam ☪️ means nothing. What does this prove? What’s the meaning of Christianity in this case? There are over 100 Christian nations.

Modern day Christian thought stems from Roman paganism as it is against a natural theology or self realized truth innate within humanity or the fitrah of humanity to believe 1=3.

. “Islam,” in itself, means nothing, because the word itself (meaning “submission” or “obedience”)
you’re contradicting yourself here

Islam advocates submitting yourself to the will of God. A lot of Islamic practices are based on Jewish practices that Jesus himself probably would have followed.

Like in the gospels, I don’t believe Jesus ever denied the authority of the Torah or the mitzvah. He would have probably kept kosher and halal is quite similar to that.

Orthodox Jewish women cover their hair in a similar manner to Muslims with the hijab. This practice is thousands of years old and Mary and other women in the Christian Bible would have likely done it.
