in mafia/forums:
bit of background - flowa and i dont go way too back, i think we met first on nitty's NF members mafia game 2-3 years ago. flower had a broadcaster role and that was like my 2nd or 3rd mafia game. that game gave me couple of first impressions that i liked about flower, even tho her posts were broadcasted through the host.
first, flower was too nice to be town, in fact it's why i scum read her that game. she was nice to everyone, does not cuss, and her frustration was too genuine to be true. i was certainly naive at the time and i thought she was faking it. soon after couple of games together, i realized that this is simply her nature, and felt guilty for the things i said about her faking it. i have yet to see her actually be purposely rude or mean to anyone or cuss them out. its something i admire about her and hope to learn. it reminds me of my younger innocent self that i lost or dont show much online. i am happy to see her be like that. flower was kind to me and teaching me how to play the game despite me constantly scum reading her and throwing shades her way / hurting her feelings. she treated my ignorance and rudeness with kindness and i truly appreciate that. i wish i would of left a better first impression.
second, flower was very competitive and dedicated to playing this game. back when i first started playing mafia, i had just came back from a forum hiatus, and i was honestly new to socializing this much with people online. to me flower felt different. where i am from, i am not used to seeing girls being competitive in gaming or online communities. i rly liked seeing her being so competitive when most of the game players were guys. it was surprising and refreshing to see at the same time. she takes the games professionally and plays for her wincon, something you guys know i respect alot and like to see more of.
third, flower's taste in anime is very unique. most people i knew at the time would watch generic animes for the most part, but not flower. she would watch the anime ranked number 2378 and you will randomly start seeing her with an avi from that anime xD. its adorable lol. i've always been a person that likes to see everyone's adventures. i remember at the end of every school year, we would make a party and then all students scatter their own way. i find joy in looking at how everyone is spending their time and what their "adventure" and path is. flower's adventure to me was always unique. shes just doing her thing, watching animes that no one has ever heard of and she doesn't care lol. she doesnt view things with the same mindset others do. an anime being low rank does not stop her from enjoying it. she is a free spirit, and i find that rly kawaii. flowa also watches shonen animes which is not very common for girls, atleast where i came from. i mean it in a good way. matter of fact... one time i posted the aizen's "all according to keikaku" meme, and flower responded with: "translator's note: keikaku means plan" ... i must admit i may have... kind of fangirled a bit over flowa there... ok shush. we wont speak of this again. it was the first time ekko has noticed flowa as a potential fellow memelord. i loved it. this was nitty's HST game btw. we kicked town's ass there zehahaha. i still remember this moment:
fun fact - in that upcoming weeb game that she talked about in the last screenshot, i learned how good flowa can be as town if shes allowed to lead. i experienced this first in the ToG game when she was town leader baam, but i was more newish at the time and was getting coached by sinraven and cooler. however during weebs game, i realized flowa is.. FOKEN ANNOYING AND MUST BE YEETED. we threw so much at her and it all didnt matter lol. she also learned my meta more and was one of the few people correctly scum reading me early on (before results came in and everyone started scum reading me). that was one of my favorite games ever. much more fun than the last weebs lol. this video captures it all lmfao.
i loved our little banters before. there was this rule of archenemies. basically me and flowa would never roll the same alignment for like 10 games in a row lol. when i was town shes mafia and vice versa. it was cool sportmanship and im happy she played along the memes. to this day we rarely roll same alignment. flowa will always remain my original archenemy. this is the video of her soloing the game as mafia lol. it was hilarious lmao. this was valentine's game iirc.
fourth, town coring with flowa is foken hilarious lol. she is one of those players that can get on soo well with me if we found ourselves as town. we will shitpost and spam to victory. the problem is how to unite us lol. every game we r both town was really enjoyable, regardless of the outcome. the unfortunate thing is this rarely happens and we usually end up getting killed right away when we find ourselves as town. flowa has the ability to make every game entertaining, whether its via the memes, fluffing, pizza, anime knowledge, ability usage, witch, ninja, or true skillful skoom hunting, etc... this is the type of players i tend to enjoy playing with and resonate with the most in games, even tho i may not show it in my posts, im really enjoying our games together, else i would not be playing this much. when flowa is in a good mood, you can really tell. her emotions will radiate through and make the others in good mood as well, making the whole game more enjoyable to play. on the flipside when shes not feeling it, you can also tell shes not enjoying the game, but she will not try to ruin it for others. over time i came to learn that these emotions r usually genuine from her. a good mood town flowa is seriously one of the best things to have in a game lol.
outside of mafia / more personal thoughts (i'm getting embarrassed as is so will limit those lol)
as i started playing more with flowa and eventually interacting with her outside of games be it in disc channels or general mafia thread, i came to learn that she as well came from a simpler background and is a very easy going person. she has values and follows them. she respects others and is a family oriented person which is something i value greatly. she makes the most out of what's given to her, even if little. an actual GOATED quality. she does not over complicate things and likes to always see the positive sides. when flowa dislikes something, her ranting is subconsciously genuine and will be focused more towards her feelings and frustrations rather than actually hateful speech or painting a negative picture on what she dislikes, then she will quickly move on to something that makes her happy. it makes you feel like you want to help her / support her / make her feel better, but you don't know how lol. this is a quality soo rare in people. its these little things that click to me and make me unable to hate the person, even tho i banter with her and all. teasing her is fun because she handles it well and does not throw tantrums over it. flowa is also leaning more towards being a social/extroverted person which is something i am not, so i naturally find that admirable, even if again... i dont show it. over all... i feel like flower is one of the coolest users in the site and we would certainly get along irl. i've already added her to the list of nakama im down to cherish for life, and.. i've also redirected today's lynch to her as well

outside of mafia / more personal thoughts (i'm getting embarrassed as is so will limit those lol)
as i started playing more with flowa and eventually interacting with her outside of games be it in disc channels or general mafia thread, i came to learn that she as well came from a simpler background and is a very easy going person. she has values and follows them. she respects others and is a family oriented person which is something i value greatly. she makes the most out of what's given to her, even if little. an actual GOATED quality. she does not over complicate things and likes to always see the positive sides. when flowa dislikes something, her ranting is subconsciously genuine and will be focused more towards her feelings and frustrations rather than actually hateful speech or painting a negative picture on what she dislikes, then she will quickly move on to something that makes her happy. it makes you feel like you want to help her / support her / make her feel better, but you don't know how lol. this is a quality soo rare in people. its these little things that click to me and make me unable to hate the person, even tho i banter with her and all. teasing her is fun because she handles it well and does not throw tantrums over it. flowa is also leaning more towards being a social/extroverted person which is something i am not, so i naturally find that admirable, even if again... i dont show it. over all... i feel like flower is one of the coolest users in the site and we would certainly get along irl. i've already added her to the list of nakama im down to cherish for life, and.. i've also redirected today's lynch to her as well

bit of background - flowa and i dont go way too back, i think we met first on nitty's NF members mafia game 2-3 years ago. flower had a broadcaster role and that was like my 2nd or 3rd mafia game. that game gave me couple of first impressions that i liked about flower, even tho her posts were broadcasted through the host.
first, flower was too nice to be town, in fact it's why i scum read her that game. she was nice to everyone, does not cuss, and her frustration was too genuine to be true. i was certainly naive at the time and i thought she was faking it. soon after couple of games together, i realized that this is simply her nature, and felt guilty for the things i said about her faking it. i have yet to see her actually be purposely rude or mean to anyone or cuss them out. its something i admire about her and hope to learn. it reminds me of my younger innocent self that i lost or dont show much online. i am happy to see her be like that. flower was kind to me and teaching me how to play the game despite me constantly scum reading her and throwing shades her way / hurting her feelings. she treated my ignorance and rudeness with kindness and i truly appreciate that. i wish i would of left a better first impression.
second, flower was very competitive and dedicated to playing this game. back when i first started playing mafia, i had just came back from a forum hiatus, and i was honestly new to socializing this much with people online. to me flower felt different. where i am from, i am not used to seeing girls being competitive in gaming or online communities. i rly liked seeing her being so competitive when most of the game players were guys. it was surprising and refreshing to see at the same time. she takes the games professionally and plays for her wincon, something you guys know i respect alot and like to see more of.
third, flower's taste in anime is very unique. most people i knew at the time would watch generic animes for the most part, but not flower. she would watch the anime ranked number 2378 and you will randomly start seeing her with an avi from that anime xD. its adorable lol. i've always been a person that likes to see everyone's adventures. i remember at the end of every school year, we would make a party and then all students scatter their own way. i find joy in looking at how everyone is spending their time and what their "adventure" and path is. flower's adventure to me was always unique. shes just doing her thing, watching animes that no one has ever heard of and she doesn't care lol. she doesnt view things with the same mindset others do. an anime being low rank does not stop her from enjoying it. she is a free spirit, and i find that rly kawaii. flowa also watches shonen animes which is not very common for girls, atleast where i came from. i mean it in a good way. matter of fact... one time i posted the aizen's "all according to keikaku" meme, and flower responded with: "translator's note: keikaku means plan" ... i must admit i may have... kind of fangirled a bit over flowa there... ok shush. we wont speak of this again. it was the first time ekko has noticed flowa as a potential fellow memelord. i loved it. this was nitty's HST game btw. we kicked town's ass there zehahaha. i still remember this moment:
fun fact - in that upcoming weeb game that she talked about in the last screenshot, i learned how good flowa can be as town if shes allowed to lead. i experienced this first in the ToG game when she was town leader baam, but i was more newish at the time and was getting coached by sinraven and cooler. however during weebs game, i realized flowa is.. FOKEN ANNOYING AND MUST BE YEETED. we threw so much at her and it all didnt matter lol. she also learned my meta more and was one of the few people correctly scum reading me early on (before results came in and everyone started scum reading me). that was one of my favorite games ever. much more fun than the last weebs lol. this video captures it all lmfao.
i loved our little banters before. there was this rule of archenemies. basically me and flowa would never roll the same alignment for like 10 games in a row lol. when i was town shes mafia and vice versa. it was cool sportmanship and im happy she played along the memes. to this day we rarely roll same alignment. flowa will always remain my original archenemy. this is the video of her soloing the game as mafia lol. it was hilarious lmao. this was valentine's game iirc.
fourth, town coring with flowa is foken hilarious lol. she is one of those players that can get on soo well with me if we found ourselves as town. we will shitpost and spam to victory. the problem is how to unite us lol. every game we r both town was really enjoyable, regardless of the outcome. the unfortunate thing is this rarely happens and we usually end up getting killed right away when we find ourselves as town. flowa has the ability to make every game entertaining, whether its via the memes, fluffing, pizza, anime knowledge, ability usage, witch, ninja, or true skillful skoom hunting, etc... this is the type of players i tend to enjoy playing with and resonate with the most in games, even tho i may not show it in my posts, im really enjoying our games together, else i would not be playing this much. when flowa is in a good mood, you can really tell. her emotions will radiate through and make the others in good mood as well, making the whole game more enjoyable to play. on the flipside when shes not feeling it, you can also tell shes not enjoying the game, but she will not try to ruin it for others. over time i came to learn that these emotions r usually genuine from her. a good mood town flowa is seriously one of the best things to have in a game lol.

fourth, town coring with flowa is foken hilarious lol. she is one of those players that can get on soo well with me if we found ourselves as town. we will shitpost and spam to victory. the problem is how to unite us lol. every game we r both town was really enjoyable, regardless of the outcome. the unfortunate thing is this rarely happens and we usually end up getting killed right away when we find ourselves as town. flowa has the ability to make every game entertaining, whether its via the memes, fluffing, pizza, anime knowledge, ability usage, witch, ninja, or true skillful skoom hunting, etc... this is the type of players i tend to enjoy playing with and resonate with the most in games, even tho i may not show it in my posts, im really enjoying our games together, else i would not be playing this much. when flowa is in a good mood, you can really tell. her emotions will radiate through and make the others in good mood as well, making the whole game more enjoyable to play. on the flipside when shes not feeling it, you can also tell shes not enjoying the game, but she will not try to ruin it for others. over time i came to learn that these emotions r usually genuine from her. a good mood town flowa is seriously one of the best things to have in a game lol.
outside of mafia / more personal thoughts (i'm getting embarrassed as is so will limit those lol)
as i started playing more with flowa and eventually interacting with her outside of games be it in disc channels or general mafia thread, i came to learn that she as well came from a simpler background and is a very easy going person. she has values and follows them. she respects others and is a family oriented person which is something i value greatly. she makes the most out of what's given to her, even if little. an actual GOATED quality. she does not over complicate things and likes to always see the positive sides. when flowa dislikes something, her ranting is subconsciously genuine and will be focused more towards her feelings and frustrations rather than actually hateful speech or painting a negative picture on what she dislikes, then she will quickly move on to something that makes her happy. it makes you feel like you want to help her / support her / make her feel better, but you don't know how lol. this is a quality soo rare in people. its these little things that click to me and make me unable to hate the person, even tho i banter with her and all. teasing her is fun because she handles it well and does not throw tantrums over it. flowa is also leaning more towards being a social/extroverted person which is something i am not, so i naturally find that admirable, even if again... i dont show it. over all... i feel like flower is one of the coolest users in the site and we would certainly get along irl. i've already added her to the list of nakama im down to cherish for life, and.. i've also redirected today's lynch to her as well
thank you for coming to my ted talk. i may have butchered the grammar and spelling and forgot whole bunch of things but i think this should suffice for the challenge. i'm honestly glad this was done since it got me to go down the memory lane and revisit the things i like about flowa. im feeling pretty awkward rn so i hope to not be forced to show this side of me more lol. now lets go back to professionalism and mafia ^^
