Guessing who is stronger between Shanks and Mihawk with their heights. THIS IS NOT A BAIT THREAD

Roger was 9ft.
Whitebeard was 21ft 10.

Clearly rivals in One Piece have similar heights.
Of course it doesn't work for all rivals but you have to recognize that the examples of Zoro/Sanji and Mihawk/Shanks are very curious

Not going to lie there is some sort of subconscious thought process that could have went into that. Height is associated with dominance in contemporary populations. We are wired to subconsciously think taller = more dominant.

He clearly wanted those characters to be the same height, could have just given them the exact same height, 1 cm means he legit sat there and decided to make one (slightly) taller over the other.

Obviously it doesn't prove anything, but it's still interesting.
Yes it's starting from this logic that I wanted to make this thread. It's not an irrefutable proof, however it merits to be noted

What part of shanks became yonkous 6 years ago, as in 6 years AFTER he fought Mihawk. Like when luffy will become PK, You gonna Tell me PK luffy îs equal to CC, hody, Lucci, crocodili, smoker because they were on par 6 years ago...

And it's especially for that reason that Oda maybe wanted to insidiously clarify the things about Shanks and Mihawk powerlevels.

I didn't understand parts of your comment btw, sorry if I answered off topic.

Luffy is one of the weakest in the crew.....
Again my intending is not to say that if A is taller than B then A is stronger than B, not at all. Read my thread.

It’s mildly interesting, but if you look at it too much it collapses.

Take Dorry and Broggy. Perfect equals, more than every character in the series, right? Yet Dorry is taller than Broggy. They have the same age, same bounty, perfect equals for 100 years, but Dorry’s taller. Does that mean Dorry is actually the stronger of the pair?

And why focus on height? Shanks and Mihawk have the same birthday. Is this a tacit sign that they are perfect equals?

To be fair, wasn’t Brogy much wider than Dorry? So they could still have the same volume

Zoro is 1 cm taller than sanji. Find anyone who used that to say zoro > sanji
Well I’m saying it

There are obviously rivals that don't have same heights at all or people stronger while smaller etc.

99.99% of time size doesn't mean anything.

But do you really think Oda didn't choose specifically Mihawk and Shanks size with only 1cm difference ? Both great rivals and important characters.

Same for Zoro and Sanji and their 1 cm difference ?

Either as a joke or as something else Oda clearly choose those size precisely

Wouldnt be surprised if its a joke. Oda sitting in his office " maybe if i make them 1cm apart people will think there is something to it and start arguing" or something lmao

This is maybe a joke i don't eliminate that possibility. But those 1cm differences between "rivals" clearly are here to be noticed because choosen on purpose

in the same breath like a retard trying to laugh at others
who you assume would say that ?

How’d your Nami vs Ulti won’t happen, Usopp vs P1 won’t happen, Franky vs Sasaki won’t happen, Robin vs Black Maria won’t happen, and your Zoro vs Kaido won’t happen predictions go?

KAIDO D. STRONGER

I am perfectly fine with that reasoning, it is in the small things that we find the great answers.
Of course, this applies to all YONKOUS, which is why Hibrido kaido is that size;)
Bigger than everyone.

Ok guys. I know you think I'm dumb with such a title and a reasoning but listen to me.

Mihawk and Shanks have always been portrayed as rivals.
Sanji and Zoro have been portrayed as rivals.

Sanji and Zoro will be my example here.
Zoro is 1m81
Sanji is 1m80

Sanji is Zoro's rival among the SH but we all know he is a little weaker than Zoro. Oda hints this with making Sanji 1cm shorter than Zoro

Let's apply that to Shanks and Mihawk.

Shanks is 1m99
Mihawk is 1m98

I think that the same logic applies here and that Oda wanted to suggest a little Shanks superiority with still only a 1cm difference which is very suspicious.

I am perfectly conscious that this should not be used as a full reasoning but this is odd enough for me to share it with you guys.

Of course this can only be used because Shanks and Mihawk are rivals and the height difference is only 1cm.

obviously if some one think Mihawk > Shanks ... this ain't gonna do anything to them ...
but Oda have fucked up ways

I notice the heights difference long ago and IT CAN BE COUNT as something oda wanted to implied

Oda CONNECTED Shanks and Mihawk to each other
same birthday is another thing he did
he WANT us to see Shanks and Mihawk SIDE BY SIDE

and this 1 cm can be his way of telling Shanks and Mihawk are the same but Shanks is above Mihawk ...

again ....

it's not a proof for anything
but it's a tricky thing that Oda did ... and can be count as something to consider ....
