I completely disagree with the "the one with better haki will always triumph" thing though

I don't think anyone could argue Luffy's haki was better than Katakuri's during WCI but he still won

But you could if you just say haki is willpower. Katakuri gave in and Luffy didn't

Luffy/Zoro literally did 0 training for it. As soon as Zoro unlocked "basic" CoC, he unlocked ACoC.

I think a lot makes sense

Haki is what mostly empowers someone on the ratio

This is why so many DFless people reached such heights, the grandest ones, they focused on what they got, their haki, the best

That's because Luffy and Zoro have immensely greater potential than Doflamingo, or Katakuri, or Chinjao, have/had.

That's why the formers could unlock Advanced Conqueror Haki, while the latters are/were "just" basic Conquerors.

Anyway, being a Conqueror is already a very big deal, setting yourself for someone stronger than the others of comparable class.
And that comes from the very mouth of somone who is both an Awakened DF user and a Conqueror but one who didn't manage to become an Adv CoC user. Plus a very knowledgeable pirate. So someone who knows what he is talking about.

There's a reason for why Adv CoC is portrayed as the power of the top tiers, by one of the most powerful top tiers calling that power something that "only a handful of the very strongest can".

Zoro is THAT MUCH strong.
Just deal with it once and for all.

Against top tiers basic CoC is useless maybe. I don't think it should boost someone's power level at least 🤔
