Now there are only Luffy, DF user. And Teach, DF user left to fight Imu.

Before some saying Teach can't beat Imu, then Luffy can't as well. So its clear that now Teach's Davy Jones bloodline and potential confirmed as important as Luffy's, there should be no excuse for Teach being FV.

When Teach searched Darkness DF for years, ignorant people criticize him for being DF merchant.

I debunked that nonsense everytime because DFless Teach was able to scar Shanks's eye. (but people make excuse for that as well like Shanks was an apprentice, then its confirmed Shanks was a captain when it happened with already using Kamusari technique).

Now that Teach's bloodline once again confirmed to be special by Saturn, and now by Imu, there is no excuse.

If Teach wanted, he would be another Xebec without DFs. But he knew Darkness DF was needed to counter whatever technique Imu's Hax is. Xebec literally says Imu's attack didn't do any damage but it simply a Hax like Sugar's DF or Ice Oni virus.

Imu's Hax can be countered by another Hax, Haki alone isn't enough.

I’d say it’s pretty much guaranteed to be a combination of both

Joyboy has the strongest haki we’ve ever seen + the Nika fruit

Luffy and Blackbeard will need both to combat Imu

But this idea that a “haki reigns supreme” so only haki is needed is an absolute myth

Rocks is one of the best haki users in the verse and a chunk of his plan relied on finding 2 specific devil fruits

The more haxed the DFs become we witness from villains, the smarter Teach looks for searching for that exact DF. The Yami alone as the ultimate anti hax + top tier Haki would already be enough to position himself at a great spot, but with special blood line and the ability to consume multiple DFs, Teach has a legit shot at succeeding at what his dad couldn't.
