Powers & Abilities Haki Potential Doesn't makes any sense

#21
Its a rare skill that even a CoA master like Hyogoro knew very little about. It wouldnt make much sense for them to have much knowledge on Adv Haki, much less how to train it.
I do not know about hyogoro but kaido/big mom were in rocks, kaido being an apprentice in the crew ; they saw the whole fight in god valley incident where garp/roger/rocks had to use it and later clashed/fights with shanks and so on.
So no they should 100% know about it. And luffy even without hyogoro's help would have mastered it in 3/4 months just by seeing it once (rayliegh)
Haki has no potential, there is no aura you are born with. Rayleigh said everyone can use it as long as they are aware of it...

What rare skill....it is not like coc that you have to born with it...

Haki is not like chakra i.e. you have certain quantity of it nor there exist any measure. It doesn't makes sense for someone to born with more haki becasue unlike nen haki is unquantifiable? It directly means willpower yet luffy leaned adv coa in two months or so , where as characters like katakuri/doflaming never had them. Big mom/kaido should know about it being in rocks crew and so should their crew.

What do you think ?
I swear the people that most complain about haki are also the ones that don't know anything about it, when Rayleigh starts training Luffy he literally says he will teach him the basics and that mastering it won't be easy, he also tells him that people tend to develop it unevenly by favoring one kind over the other based on their strengths but still recommends gaining skill in all 3.
Strengthening haki has always been a concept, wether it's Blackbeard mentioning how it's growing or Luffy in Fishman Island mentioning he is still lacking.

Dude luffy learnt both coo and cao easily what are you talking about? Are you saying kaido/big mom have never been tough fights.
The point is luffy saw rayleigh use adv coa only once and mastered it two in weeks with hyogoro helps and even without him could master in 3/4 months

Kaido/big mom were in rocks as well as god valley fight. They have to encounter adv coa atleast once if not multiple times .They have years to train for it.
It seems you have very poor comprehension skills

I was talking about your wrong impression of haki not being something that grows which always was, as far as ''adv coa'' it isn't so much of a X times stronger haki but rather a different application of it, in Wano Luffy learns the technique to expand his haki beyond his body but this is used to bypass Kaido's hard exterior, not to make Luffy inherently more powerful.

OK.
My point is adv coa is so easy and fast to learn and kaido/big mom have decent exposure to it and by virtue of that so are katakuri and other commanders....

Has there been any point in which any of those characters would benefit from learning or using it so far? Katakuri could already hurt Luffy and now vs the emperors Luffy and company are the ones in a situation where they need means to damage seemingly invincible enemies, on the other hand those enemies just need some clean blows to trash them with ease.

Haki is a quick fix. It's the be all end all now in op.

Couldn't hit logia? Haki

Ain't strong enough? Haki

Need to stop a broken df? Haki

Need to explain the magic? Haki

Etc.
Haki is only going to make as much sense as the story needs to progress. Logically there shouldn't be a crew that all members don't know haki if at least 1 person on the crew can use as they should teach em. Same with old characters and how their haki should be leagues better than anyone not in their age group. The fact they should have continuously strengthen it as well as had haki blooms should mean no younger characters should logically catch them. Yet at like 20 luffy will probably have some of the haki ever.

You can replace haki with guts and muscles for pre haki fights.

Dude power is power. Adc coa is a good powerup which is very easy to learn. They are competing to become pirate king. Its like asking why has katakuri eaten a devil fruit as he is a part of yonko crew and has no need to become very powerful compared to having no devil fruit.

Kaido and big mom are actively trying to make their crew more powerful kaido by smiles and big mom with marriages. Why not treach adv coa to their crew...

It's not like there's no precedent, BM is an absolute monster in both strength and resilience so she doesn't have the need to obsess about keeping a perfect untouchable image and predict anything coming her way, but it so happens that one of her sons does and ended up developing future sight.
Would FS benefit BM? absolutely. Would she bother learning it? evidently not.

Talking about adv coa

It's the same point, much like BM doesn't bother improving her observation since she's invincible she has no need to bypass defenses that she can already easily crush with her monstrous strength.

Kaido and Big mom are not like wb who is satisfied with his power. They are power hungry. If they can eat 2 devil fruits like BB they would eat it. Adv coa is the same thing. It is a powerful power-up which will make them more powerful and give them edge in this competition

That's the thing, it isn't power, it's the ability to use the power they already have and bypass an exterior, you seem to be confusing a skill with a powerup and in the case of BM she has no need to bypass defenses she can already break.

No barrier adv coa is a powerup and it will obviously help them come on

g4+ adv coa will damage doflamingo much more that normal g4. Luffy has to spend less energy even though luffy can harm doflamingo with out adv coa. It is a powerup nonetheless for anyone

Tbh, I don't think ACoA will matter as much for other people apart from Kaido. (Though it will still matter)

It's like FS and Katakuri. Is it still a powerup? Yes. But it matters WAY more against Katakuri than other people.

Same with ACoA and Kaido? Is it still a powerup? Yes. But it matters WAY more against Kaido.

Agreed. The point is adv coa is powerup and not only a skill.
