Fujitora doesn't always have his Haki on. Luffy had to inform him he was being cheated out of money at the gambling hall. Also, when he left the gambling hall, he got yelled out by a citizen because he bumped into them.

Katakuri just turns his Haki off and on, nothing more. If Luffy can fully replenish his haki, after resting for 10 minutes, then Katakuri is not going to burn through all his haki when he's using it situationally.

Big Mom's Iron skin is not Haki. Hardening is black. Invisible haki creates a barrier. If it was invisible haki, attacks wouldn't even touch her body. Bobby Funk has Iron skin as well. If I had to wager it a desire, I'd say it has something to do with the concept of desire, and manifesting abilities. Makes sense for both Big Mom and Bobby Funk. Ones a simple minded kid, who probably doesn't like getting hurt, and the other was a big softie, who disliked violence. That ability fits the personality of these two.

Back in the day, for Fuji's situation, a lot of the discussion I see is people equating it to Itachi keeping his Sharingan 24/7.

His/their mastery reached pinnacle, that the consumption is so minuscule. Or the consumption equal to the recovery.

I can accept this. Especially when Fuji mostly "only use Haki on his near vicinity, so the usage is low". Then when he actively use it, he'll cover a lot of range and thus more drainage.

Great point but here's the cold hard truth: Haki is Oda's deus ex tool. It exists to explain the unexplainable, it exists to be Oda's get out of jail free card, nothing more nothing less. It's the reason Oda refuses to elaborate, because the minute he does, he's locked into that box.

Oh this Law ability is too hax and would end this farce? Oh well strong haki , which type of haki, how does it function, is it passive, active, what moves does it effect, to what degree and why? Nope no answer. Haki goes brrr.

When he needs to turn it on he will, when he needs to turn it off he will. When he needs an ice fist to match an advCoC fist from the strongest fist fighter of all time it will, when he needs it to be the most OP power it will.

I've officially checked out of haki discussions. The only thing I'm looking at now is results. That's it, that's all that matters.

I didn't even know haki reserves existed until you said they do. I think Haki just comes back after using it like stamina.
