God Valley ends with Harald pulling a Shanks and stopping the war.

We know this flashback’s focus is Harald, so he must be connected to GV. But how?

With Imu himself on GV, it would make the most sense if the war was interrupted. As Oda isn’t going to have Imu lose just yet.

Harald, being as strong as Rocks and commanding the armies of Elbaf, is probably strong enough to make Imu cut his losses and end the war. Especially having to deal with Roger, probably Garp, and the Rocks remnants well.

Ultimately GV is a parallel of MF. In both instances you had great pirates, Rocks and WB, facing off against the WG to save their family. Rocks and WB died, ending an era and giving birth to a new era. That of Roger and Luffy respectively.

Harald, a powerful warrior who wishes for peace, is the Shanks of Rocks’s age. After Rocks’s death, he will arrive and basically force everyone to go home.

This will end with Xebec's death. Roger and Rocks don't need help escaping. The whole point of Shanks was to let Marco & co escape.

We know Harald was supposed to raise an army for Imu. That Harald lived in MJ and that the HKs knew him.

Probably ties into their deal.

What is the purpose of Imu?
Rocks' death
What was Roger and Garp's purpose in that regard?
Rocks' defeat
They had no reason to fight after Rocks' death
And I don't think savages like Roger and Garp would listen to Harald's words

There's also the Elbaf devil fruit which Imu might be after, Harald might threaten him by destroying it.

Imu will comply and leave all but Xebec and Harald leave alive.

Thats likely outcome i see . Harald and Imu had deal that ended God Valley war .

Harald is gonna enter God Valley like Shanks did in Marineford and say "Enough, this young marine is more brave than this whole era blablabla and this and that".

Garp : "Dragon ???? (good lad...)"

Then WB takes Teach, Roger takes Shanks and Harald welcomes Dragon in his kingdom with some God Valley refugees.

Dragon's journey toward power and wisedom starts in Elbaph where he becomes friend with the giants.

Obviously Dragon is trained by Harald himself aka rival of Xebec !

People forget that Roger and Garp fought on Imu's side.
If Harald arrives here, he will back up the Rocks Pirates.
