My (personal) theory is either that Harry Potter has 1+ vests on him, and the Horcrux is considered broken when any KP is used on him, or (absurd, but not impossible) Harry Potter can only be NKd by Voldemort.

True. It's possible, with how the Horcruxes work (can't exactly have Voldemort be immortal if town lynches him), that there is no Voldemort role. Given Nagini (who literally spends all her time with Voldemort + is closely linked to him) didn't mention a Voldemort role at all, it's possible.
