My man, we have straight statements in depth from Kishi how Yata Mirror works and we have had no antifeats or showings where it failed to do what it was said to be able to do, or no case of it being retconned. Minato literally watched Naruto fight Pain but then said that he would need to be significantly stronger to fight Obito, someone Minato literally defeated.

And the 3rd is canonically > the 2nd. It’s outright stated in the last databook and war arc feats (2nd could only make 2 shadow clones, Hiruzen made 4, etc).

I think I agree with this list. I need to revisit the databook statements for Hiruzen and his feats in the war to be sure, but I do think it's likely he's above Tobirama in his prime.

It’s awesome that two non canon sources have this, but the commentary is we’ve driven him out. It’s a team effort and none of it is due solely to Hiruzen.
