--This is pre morten nen hisoka as he was when he fought against chrollo.

--Can hisoka beat Zeno? Both fought chrollo.

Thoughts?

ags: @Chrono @RayanOO @Shiroyru @ConquistadoR @SkySanji @zenox @Kung-Fu Dugong @ZenZu @Extravlad @NAMELESS @MonochromeYoru @KingOnizam @Rurushu @Warine @JoNdule @Salah WG @Fujishiro @Tyki_Mikk @zenox etc.
Maybe. I think Zoldycks are overrated. We didn't really see anything impressive from them. Chrollo was literally dodging Zeno while keeping an eye on Silva. Meanwhile, while fighting Hisoka, he was 100% focused and still got tagged a few times. Hisoka has the better cqb feats.

It's just speculation, but I've a feeling that Hisoka's weakness are emitters. There are a few hints in the manga:
  • Hisoka avoided fighting Razor back in Greed Island, despite being excited after the dodgeball match (he simply might've been focused on finding a nen exorcist for Chrollo though);
  • He had trouble fighting Gotoh in the Hunter Chairman Election arc, despite being a much superior nen user (Gotoh is labeled as an enhancer, but he leans toward emission with his coins ability);
  • Franklin was confident on being alone and just waiting for Hisoka at the Black Whale's tier 5 (that might just be confidence too, but he's the only spider besides Machi that didn't team up with anyone else).

We didn't see much of Zeno, but he's ranked as "extreme" in Togashi's proficiency ranking (extreme > natural > excellent > skillful), being one of the two emitters in the rank (alongside Meruem), and it's also implied that he could fight (or at least spar) against Netero, as he knows his hatsu (100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva). Hisoka has more feats, but he's only "natural" in Togashi's ranking. So, considering that Hisoka'll face a probable troublesome opponent with superior nen ability and experience, Zeno should win.

Zeno.

The raw firepower he has far exceeds anything Hisoka can dish out and with his experience and very high battle IQ (as seen in the Chrollo fight where he easily guessed the conditions of Skill Hunter) I don't see him falling for Hisoka's trickery that easily.

Hisoka's mental also exposes him a lot in fights like these because he can't remain level-headed and I don't think he can afford that against someone of Zeno's caliber.

What do you think wins between Silva and hisoka?

But can you say that Zeno and Silver went All Out 100% to me they didnt look like they truly locked in vs Chrollo

Well, Silva got cut in the forearm and Zeno was ready to go full Kamisaki. They might not have showed their full arsenal, but they were willing to fight to the death there. It was a W for Chrollo.
Zoldycks are professional assassins, they don’t take risks, what matters is securing the kill
You don’t always fight an opponent with countless unknown factors like Chrollo, they knew he was an extremely talented fighter with a wide array of abilities at his disposal. As assassins, and to mitigate the risk, Zeno putting his life on the line was the safest option for success

This is a 1v1, so something like that is not an option. Hisoka only has one ability too anyway, it is tricky in its own right but we saw how intelligent Zeno is.

I don't see pre-current arc Hisoka beating Silva either.
He has even more raw power than his father although I guess his battle iq/experience is a bit worse.

The Hisoka/Illumi dynamic and the 95 rating Hisoka gave Illumi (which I suspect means he's a 95 to Hisoka's 100) makes me think he's inbetween Illumi and Zeno/Silva who'd probably score 105 to 110

This panel is worth more than Hisoka's resume, Meruem admired what little he saw of Zeno

Hisoka is no joke himself and can definitely compete with Zeno, but he's not beating him
postmortem Hisoka seems to be a lot more stronger. I think Illumi is supposed to be more lethal than Zeno and hes up against Hisoka right now, lets see what he'll do
