How much more of a bigger deal does this need to be?

The chapter that BM goes out, Zoro is almost ready to bounce. This fight will be down to Luffy/Law soon who were the 2 who originally planned to beat Kaido, and after that it will be Luffy v. Kaido in a 1 v. 1.

Zoro was just support for the 3 captains since BM was there. Luffy/Law/Kid is not enough for Kaido + BM. Without BM, he’ll land one or two more hits at the most vs. Kaido, but this battle will end in Luffy v. Kaido soon enough.

For a character like Zoro, leaving him unconscious on the ground at the very least would be necesssary to tell us he's out of the fight entirely.
This isn't even Zoro wank; If Sanji took a strong attack then got up to keep fighting despite being injured and people were like "he's out of the fight", Sanji fans would rightfully be like "but he got up again and is still fighting what are you talking about".

Is this really wank after Zoro's Rooftop feats?

I don't think the fanfic would happen, but that's because it's far too early in the fight for Zoro to be resorting to his Trump Card and to be depicted so godly in a chapter (Zoro's eponymous chapter is over a dozen chapters away at the earliest), but the concrete wank scenes were:

1. Zoro blitzing a Kaido not focused on him with Shi ShiShi Sonson and temporarily KOing him
2. Zoro tanking Thunder Bagua head-on
3. Zoro blocking Three Realms: Ragnarok and pushing Kaido back
4. Zoro shocking Kaido out of his mind due to his tenacity

Are these scenes that you want to tell me are implausible? Leave aside how I was deepthroating Zoro's dick while writing the fic, do you want to tell me that you think that the above 4 feats are impossible for Zoro to pull off?

After Zoro has:

• Blitzed Mama in the middle of a point blank attack from several dozen metres away with Homurasaki
  • Blitzed Mama again last chapter with a nameless attack
• Terrified both Yonkou with Hiryuu Kaen and caused Mama to scream at Kaido to dodge due to the potency of his attack
• Blocked Hakai and endured heavy damage for a few seconds

I don't think the narrative can accommodate this scene at the current time, but none of the "feats" in it are outlandish to me.

Your 4th point at the very least needs to happen. That's the bare minimum. It would be such a waste not to, and i don't think Oda will miss this opportunity.

If anything, it was Zoro who got worried and shouted "Luffy!!!" when he got hit by Ragnarok later.

At the end of the chapter he takes off his bandana and is shown heavily coughing up blood:

The wound is not that serious. Thriller Bark was worse imo.

I agree that Thriller Bark was worse, but Zoro could literally not move after Thriller Bark. Removing his Bandana is pretty serious. As @KiriNigiri said, this is the first time Zoro has done it mid fight.

True he still hasn't done any permanent damage with Emma yet. Maybe he will take a timeout and Luffy will protect him like how he has been protecting Luffy in the earlier chapters.

In the current context of the fight? Yes, minus 4 I think so. From the looks of it, it's taking everything from Zoro to stand up after stopping Hakai for a few seconds and assist Kid and Law. We see him at the end of the chapter coughing blood while barely standing up. Unless Oda deepthroats Zoro even harder than before, him taking a Thunder Bagua head-on from an even stronger version of Kaido and surviving without being KOed would be the peak of BS. Same with him blocking Ragnarok and pushing Hybrid Kaido back or him KOing Hybrid Kaido with a technique.

Though, with Oda you never know. If you had told me months ago that Zoro would be pulling half of the shit he's pulling right now I wouldn't have believed you but here we are and from the looks of it this trend is most likely going to continue, so I can't say your points are completely impossible either because this is Oda we're talking about.

That can very well occur later on I think.

Eventually this is the time for the other nova to prove they aren't utter fodders compared to Zoro. I think it shall likely be the case that Zoro rests a bit before the fight reaches a climax.

Percentages don't have anything to do with it. Characters bust out their strongest attacks with little to no gas left in the tank. Luffy's done it damn near every fight.

Zoro could have 1% hp and bust out his strongest attack. This series is all about "will power."

True but with that said..considering we know how fucked up Zoro can get and still keep fighting aka Daz Bones fight..This doesn't seem like Zoro is even close to his limits.
