Do you guys posit him to be less or more damaged than Akainu in MF? Because Sakazuki was caughing blood too and his face abudantly covered in blood. Despite so he recovered pretty decently. I can see Zoro less damaged.

He's still capable of powering through but it seemed like significant damage. Man removed his bandana and he's coughing up quite a bit of blood. But it's not like he hasn't been injured badly before. It isn't as bad as after Kuma or immediately after Mihawk but a bit more than his usual injury that nerfs him in a lot of pre-timeskip fights. He'll be up in no time and he'll re-open Kaido's wound. I'm not a believer in Zoro beheading Kaido but he'll definitely continue fighting after a bit of recuperation to land some significant hits on Kaido.

I’m of the mind that this roof fight is not ending without Zoro reopening Kaido’s scar and I think at MINIMUM that requires 33% Zoro. It would be ridiculous if a 20% Zoro managed to Reopen Kaido’s scar.

Percentages don't have anything to do with it. Characters bust out their strongest attacks with little to no gas left in the tank. Luffy's done it damn near every fight.

Zoro could have 1% hp and bust out his strongest attack. This series is all about "will power."

How much more of a bigger deal does this need to be?

The chapter that BM goes out, Zoro is almost ready to bounce. This fight will be down to Luffy/Law soon who were the 2 who originally planned to beat Kaido, and after that it will be Luffy v. Kaido in a 1 v. 1.

Zoro was just support for the 3 captains since BM was there. Luffy/Law/Kid is not enough for Kaido + BM. Without BM, he’ll land one or two more hits at the most vs. Kaido, but this battle will end in Luffy v. Kaido soon enough.

Zoro still has the Enma -> Blackblade plotline, the Samurai plotline that still need to be resolved. Heck, even Hiyori and Gyukimaru, 2 Wano prominent citizens close to him haven't even shown up yet. And Yamato still needs to be fangirl-ing all over Enma.
