Because theres this little thing called a cliffhanger and it exists for a reason lmao.

Theres also no way the Admiral loses before any of his subordinates, let alone to a finisher that does not take up an actual double spread, LET ALONE the fact that this was barely a focused fight. It was a game of cat and mouse.

Like i dont even know what Kaido fans are scared of. Kaido took hundreds of hits from everyone before he lost. His title is still warranted. Kizaru is allowed to take multiple hits from Luffy, especially since this is the first one. Plus, he has already noted his defense is strong, and that was without blocking Sentoumaru's attack when it was mentioned.

So yes, wait until the cliffhanger is resolved.

It is instinctive to think that it's gonna take more than one AdvCOC attack to take down a top tier.

But then, there's that Oden vs Kaido fight, where Oden took one Thunder Bagua for the fight to end. It is obviously rushed for the plot progression and to hide Kaido's hybrid form but it is what it is.

It all depends on Oda, for him Plot > Powerscaling.

You people are delusional. If the man who beat Kaido passed out because of his stamina than he won as opposed to Kizaru who lost because he was knocked tf out by an attack.
If the guy relies on the side effects of an ability to be able to win, that's proof that he was never superior. If Kizaru had been mastering G5 like the exhausted Kaido was, we could even understand, but Oda did the opposite here, had Wuffy dominate Kizaru.

Kizaru was seriously complaining that G5 still hadn’t run out right before he ran away

Kizaru was focusing on Vegapunk the whole time while toying with Luffy, this is the first hit Luffy actually landed and it was only because Kizaru was destroying the cloud road

Cope. He was clearly being challenged as you can even see him beginning to huff and puff as he has whole exchanges with Luffy.

Even his light speed is fraudulent as Luffy is keeping up just fine

Lmao, Wuffy wasn't taking Kizaru seriously to the point that Zoro had to ask him to focus only on Kizaru and even rejected his help; see, this is the definitive proof that Wuffy wasn't taking it seriously. Franky calling out to Wuffy in that chapter also demonstrates that.

Kizaru attempting to kill Vegapunk doesn't mean he's joking, especially when Wuffy has been preventing all the deadly attacks that Kizaru has aimed at Vegapunk.

What can we blame if Wuffy is so good that he can protect Vegapunk while kicking Kizaru and defeating him every time?:kayneshrug:

no one is saying Kizaru wasnt being challenged buddy, even Kizaru himself said Luffy was making it hard for him to complete his mission.

Speed has never meant you are untouchable in One Piece, just look at fatass slow Queen being able to easily tag Sanji

you clearly dont know Luffy's character at all do you?
Luffy is always easygoing even when he is extremely serious, do you even understand the story or how Oda writes Luffy?

By Kizaru not focusing on Luffy means he wasnt fighting Luffy seriously, how hard is that to understand?
Kizaru wanted to kill Vegarpunk thats all, he didnt want to fight Luffy!

Luffy only landed 1 hit on Kizaru and only because Kizaru was attacking Vegapunk, that is a clear indication that Kizaru > Luffy

thats clearly a way the of Oda showing how in OP the plot is much more important than the fights and powerscaling.

He need to make Saturn act freely for a time, so he put both Luffy and Kizaru, that are the ones that could take Saturn spotlight, out of combat for sometime.

While making Lucci and Zoro keep each other busy to prevent anything like people asking why Zoro, Sanji and Jinbei didnt join forces to beat Saturn, what would be a logical complain. But he also made sure to take Kaku and the Seraphin out to not make the WG too strong in a way that would make impossible for the SH to escape
