Even after leaving Raisin's hands, the blade remained darkened by Haki, so I believe that the blade on GB's waist was covered with Haki, but it is not permanently a black blade.

I honestly don't care at this moment whether Aramaki forged his own black blade or obtained it by defeating a swordsman who forged it; of course, he could have acquired it just like Zoro did. I honestly don't glorify the feat of forging a black blade because the means to do so are still unknown to us.

I'm leaning towards the idea that it's Green Bull's sword sheath that is black. If Oda were to hide the sword guard between Risin's clothes and not show the end of the sheath, just as he did with Green Bull's panel, we would also assume that Risin has a black blade because it would be difficult to differentiate.

Is this official coloring? :zorothink: If it is then this practically confirms it. Aramaki has a Black Blade.

Otherwise, he just dipped his sword in tar and painted it black.

I think an Admiral is more than capable of creating a black blade. Now whether his blade is actually black or Oda is cheap hyping it, is a completely different topic.

Its mostlikely not even a Black Blade its just a black Sheath. And if it somehow ends up beeing a Black Blade he definetly wont be the one who forged it cause it would be a disrespect to other Top Tier Swordsmans like Roger,Rayleigh,Shanks etc. Only the strongest Swordsman are capable of forging it like Ryuma/Mihawk

You lot need to stop thinking that the Title "Pirate King" puts you above everyone in Strength he even avoided fighting Big Mom. Roger wasnt even stronger than Whitebeard and also probably Xebec anyway. Roger was a pure Swordsman so are Shanks and Rayleigh. Shanks doesent have the Title strongest Swordsman even though he is a Swordsman the Title belongs to Mihawk for a Reason. Ryuma and Mihawk are the 2 only known Swordsman so far in the Show with that Feat. Ryuma/Mihawk>Roger>Shanks

Looks like a black blade to me but its really weird if Aramaki could forge one but Fuji/Shanks/Roger etc couldnt.

Cant see how Oda could justify it.
