So the Gorosei sided with Garlic's son and started commanding the Marines to hunt Mihawk down so Garlic's son becomes the WSS but they failed miserably and just gave up.

Now you also know why Mihawk was called Marine hunter.

The same World Government that wanted to reduce Luffy's achievement by giving him a smaller bounty,wanted his picture removed,wanted his D removed and doesn't like how the D have come into the spotlight recently be it Teach Ace or Luffy,would purposefully make them Emperors. :nicagesmile:

Roger came to be called/known in the same way Kaido is called/known as the WSC; it is people who literally assign epithets, titles, or the like to the characters.

The black blade is too technical for the general people in the verse to fully comprehend its greatness. Outside of Wano, I doubt people understand it and would call someone WSS for forging a black blade. He didnt get WSS for that, he did something big that the entire world knows. Think about it, Luffy got his yonko title after beating Kaido, Roger got his PK title after getting One Piece, Garp got his hero title for his God Valley accomplishments, etc. There are stories and accomplishments behind every title, be it WSM, WSC, Shanks' yonko title, or Mihawk's WSS.

However progranda can still stand because it is he or she said. A rumor per to say and it got carried on to being something much bigger that it got acknowledged throughout the world and the world government.

Who did mihawk beat to become wss. Oda as show that mihawk is not important in the grand scheme of thing for him to go out of his way to create a character for mihawk to beat.

Shanks was the original WSS but after Mihawk lost to him for the 385th time, Shanks felt pity for him and pretended to lose, giving him the WSS title.

When did Zephyr lose his arm?

If Oda chooses to make him canon, and keeps the detail of him losing his arm to a warlord, Mihawk is the perfect candidate.

Couldn't have been Mihawk since it was a devil fruit user and they joined the Shichibukai during the timeskip, the only real option is Law, but it's most likely just not a character that exists.

Weevil is possible, but so far there aren't any signs he's a devil fruit user iirc.
