if you accepted this concept then here is a reminder of what it meant inside the fanbase. the 3 strongest fighters.
not the 3 strongest fighter except the captain. Luffy was never before excluded. NEVER.

I would be indifferent if none of the Straw Hats fought a calamity. I do not even care if Luffy fights Kaido or BM or whoever.
there is little to gain from this storywise. not in my eyes.

There's no guarantee those powerups gonna skyrocket them above and beyond in this arc.

Especially Enma. People diving blind into that rabbit hole because he can cut a cliff by accident. Enma will make or break yall expectations lol.

The expectations are that Zoro comes out the strongest swordsman in Wano. The strongest person with a blade currently in Wano is BM.

My disappointment won't be anything personal. I stopped putting high expectations on OP and Oda since WCI. In fact I expect Oda to disappoint us all like he has in the past few years.

As for my views, I think that they will be fighting the calamities. Do I think that it's reasonable without some buildup? No! Luffy had a lot of PIS and bullshit roll his way to "beat" Doffy, Cracker and Kata. It would be wildly inconsistent to have S and Z have such leaps in power without having any challenges. If thats the case then I guess we can start scaling Doffy, Cracker and Kata differently because they clearly beat the shit out of and embarrassed Luffy in their respective fights and should have won in not for PIS.
