Rinse Rice in a strainer 2-3 times.
Add water to pot (2 parts water to 1 part rice) Salt the water,
Bring water to boil, add rice
Reduce heat to simmer, put tightly fitted lid on pot
Cook approx 15-20 min
Let sit covered approx 10 min
Season however you want, and yes, add butter if you want, cuz it's your rice. Serve
I like Brown Rice for it's nutty flavor and higher fiber content.
