After seeing Jimbei vs Who's Who in the recent chapter its clear were going to start getting fight chapters from here on out.....
One Piece is potentially about to reach its peak in terms of Action/choreography with the players we have in this raid.

Since Alabasta theres always 2 to 3 Strawhats who dont get a focused fight in Battle arcs. Seems Oda selected these 7 to get a serious focused fight in the raid.


How Do you feel about the current Strawhat matchups? Did oda drop the ball or are they perfect?
Also which one do you think is going to be the most hype?


Jimbei vs Who's Who

Setup awhile back in 998, never got any actual attention until 1017, And it seems its potentially ending soon.


Franky vs Sasaki

Setup in 998 as well, we had glimspes in 1004 but has yet to be focused on, looks like it might be getting focus soon.



Robin and Brook vs Black Maria

setup in 1005 , we havent even really seen a glimpse but it could be coming up soon.




Sanji vs Queen

The fastest development among the fights in onigashima, Started in 1015 and 2 chapters later we get lore and a hybrid form. Fight may get some focus a lot sooner than we think.




Marco has been fighting King since chapter 1006, we got 1 chapter of focus for him fighting king and queen but nothing for him 1v1 against King. Not sure what Odas plan is, but Zoro is currently in the same area and his getting healed, so it looks like something is going to happen between Zoro, Marco and King. Since Sanjis fighting Queen Zoro's most likely going to get King by default. So on top of Roof Piece it looks like Zoro will be getting a fight against King.

Haven’t seen anything out of Franky that I haven’t loved, so I assume he’ll make short work of Sasaki fairly soon, hopefully with another laser-based attack :steef::fransuper:

Definitely wanna see more of Robin/Brook vs Black Maria, the former two haven’t really had many interactions in a very long time and it’ll be fun seeing how they take the latter down :robinsweat::brootea:

queen fight potential is very high. simultaneous attack , jumping , durability , laser beam . he equipped weapons at all of point. moreover , high probably , he can use coa .

oda dont show anything about sanji but i am waiting how to defeat queen.

sasaki and franky seem very impressibe by the way. sasaki seems tough guy. he manaced Yamato also .

We didnot see anything about Black Maria in terms of beast side. i m not hyped yet. but i am waiting.

zoros future fight very mystery right now.

Actually, in the one panel , Marco said I don't still know what my task is at here.

This indicates sacrifice for someone.

And potential, zoro and sanji seems at very dangerous case. Even if they win fights, I feel they take fatall wound . At the that point, he want to go near his father though.

In terms of Nami's fight, I don't really care anymore since she got something out of it, but hopefully Usopp and Chopper get the same, regardless if it's an actual warranted fight or not.

At least in Usopp's case, he was set up for Page 1 on a surface level, so hopefully the guy comes back for a chapter or 2 for him. Chopper has me worried the most.

I do also think that it's decently possible Yamato helps Inu take out Jack once Luffy comes back for Kaido

If the straw hats were going to beat the Tobi Roppo and Calamities with such low difficulty, it's kinda dumb to have the Tama plotline where she has to turn the gifters against Kaido. I mean people like Nami, Usopp and still relatively clean. They should be doing fodder clean up duty. Jinbei too given how easily he defeated Who's Who. Frankly to will be relatively ok. And if Zoro is fighting King then Marco is left free and fresh as fuck fuck up even more hordes of fodder.

Jinbei vs WsW, Franky vs Sasaki and Sanji vs Queen is fine. Nami vs Ulti is arguably the worst Nami's fight so far. Nami vs Miss Doublefinger and Kalifa was way better. Usopp vs Page One also got ruined with the off-screened. Robin and Brook vs Black Maria is ok but I prefer Robin and Brook to have their own 1v1 fights imo.

If Usopp vs P1 is his real match up I’ll be really disappointed.

Heres hoping Usopp vs Jack and Nami vs Fukurokujo
